T250: The stage is set, will Superdeath sniff this out?

I did not declare war on Superdeath or capture a city this turn, contrary to what PBSpy suggests. The decrease in Superdeath's score has to be from the two WHITE_BOX_X tiles that I reclaimed from him this turn. They still had >50% culture for me so they immediately flipped back when I founded my city. Those two tiles each play a very specific role in setting up my nefarious plot.

1) The eastern of the two tiles opens up a diagonal vector of attack on Jeffrey Dahmer. Unfortunately there was no way to stage my knights in the fog last turn in order to immediately hit Jeffrey this turn.
2) The western of the two tiles allows me to keep my knight stack hidden in the fog. All three of the YELLOW_CIRCLE tiles are rough terrain and should prevent Superdeath's sentry knight from spying out the knights unless he declares war and enters my territory on one of those tiles.

Last turn I unlocked Rifling and upgraded a few crossbows to Rifles in order to guard the new city plant. I don't know if Superdeath has enough military in range to immediately attack the new city. I saw the tile 1N of Jeffrey with my Sentry and it is empty. The only tile I could be hit with siege is from 1E of Jeffrey. I'm hoping that he has his forces in a more central location. I'm also hoping that any troops he brings to this front will be staged out of my sight 1E of Jeffrey instead of inside Jeffrey.

I debated whether I wanted to show the knight stack last turn and hope that Superdeath didn't stuff the city before I founded this turn, or found first and keep my knights hidden in the fog. Ultimately I decided on the latter. I popped a GProphet this turn and immediately popped the 2-man Golden Age to help disguise my nefarious intentions under a veil of continued economic development. Next tech target is Nationalism for the draft which I can easily achieve before the end of the golden age (not that it matters for the civics swap since I'm spiritual). After that I'll probably save gold for a good long while.

Superdeath must have gotten suspicious because Jeffrey's garrison was increased to a half dozen each of rifles, musketeers, and pikes. No way I'm cracking that with 40 knights so I distribute them back to their zone defense posts. Oh, well this was a fun little mini-game. I also reduced my own garrison in the new city down to 3 rifles. I suspect Superdeath will shuffle in catapults from wherever he has them currently staged to smack my new city, and 5 rifles won't defend any better than 3 vs. siege. I moved my siege a couple tiles closer to where I can counter attack anything that hits the new city, while still remaining far enough away that I can't be hit even after the city falls.

Since I upgraded 5 rifles I'm up to a dozen already. My current goal is to survive until the end game so I'll build wealth to reach Nationalism in 3 turns and then draft a round or three for deterrence against the greedy eyes of my neighbors.

33 Cavalry suddenly appeared in Frankfurter  scared Is Wetbandit preparing to invade? Surely not since the power graph isn't spiking, and actually Mr. Cairo's graph is higher and has the steepest slope recently (but still it doesn't look like anyone is trying to force an end through domination). Also the cavalry could stage out of my sight 1N so why show them to me?

Superdeath moved a few catapults into range of my new border city. I suspect imminent attack. I long since reduced the garrison down to 2 CG1 rifles. Will catapults make a difference there? They may (hopefully) not even scratch the top rifle defender.

Hmmm ... no attack this turn and the catapults moved into Jeffrey.

In other news, I'm actually 3rd in food  lol still 6th in GNP at 100% science  shakehead

Still peace throughout the world. Cairo’s power shows a noticeable slope increase maybe 10 turns ago, and JR4 is following. The rest of us are flat. Cairo’s culture continues to creep upwards so someone is going to be forced to react to that at some point.

Heated debate about what breakfast cereal is better. Frosted Flakes is currently beating Cornflakes.

Personally I'd go with Lucky Charms yup but if we're talking about heated cereal then cream of wheat is infinitely better than grits.
