It's a party on Speaker's fund
(And Guinsoo apparently said somewhere that his jungling will be buffed too!) Jkaen Wrote:Going from Ashe to Ryze I found it was a much smaller window I was aiming at to hit, in our game I kept either hitting early and not quite killing, or hitting late (when it was already dead). Was much easier late ron in the game (when I was single lane) when I had the mana to last hit with Q It's a bit easier to last hit early on with AD champions because you already buy AD items that boost your autoattack. I recommend learning Annie. She can last hit with her Q skill and not worry about mana because of the passive on said Q skill. She is also in a better spot, meta-game wise, than Ryze currently is. Annie costs 1350 IP, a meager price for such a good champion. Ryze just has a bit tough early game and you need to learn how to time those last hits that will pay for your Tear of the Goddess rush. (Hmm, shouldn't have doubleposted and I can't remove the post. Oh well.) Deceptus Wrote:It's a party on Speaker's fund Actually I liked that they nerfed Shen. His ability to split push late game is so annoying and it's one of those things you really can't counter unless you have a champion with global ultimate as well.
More Tribunal fun.
Just 1 report in a game. Reason: "Verbal Abuse" Comments: "there was no need for the coment he made at the end." Evidence?: The reported player said "aww gg". Actually I liked that they nerfed Evelynn. Her ability to stun from invisibility is so annoying and it's one of those things you really can't counter unless you waste a lot of gold on vision wards and oracle elixirs. Actually I liked that they nerfed Jax. His ability to deal an enormous amount of level 2 burst is so annoying and it's one of those things you really can't counter unless you utilize beefy runes and masteries. Actually I liked that they nerfed Xin Zhao. His ability to go tunnel vision on the target and destroying them is so annoying, plus you can't prevent him from snowballing without itemizing for armor early on. ... But what I didn't like is that they didn't compensate for it with changes in other places. For those characters a complete nerf was rather uncalled for. Eve is now even worse than Twitch. Nerf to Jax's ratio wasn't a cool move either. Why was Xin nerfed so hard? Nobody picked any of those champs at Dreamhack, in fact most of them are pubstompers. I (think I) understand the ideas behind the nerfs, but I'm waiting eagerly for the next patch to give some adjustments to the champions that got those out-of-the-blue nerfs with no compensations in other areas. And hey, I still wonder if they're going to help out Rammus a bit... Deceptus Wrote:Actually I liked that they nerfed Evelynn. Your argument is rather unsound. As you say yourself Eve can be countered by buying vision wards/oracles. A split pushing Shen will either push down the tower or create a 5v4 situation. The only thing I would agree on is that Riot should fix the problem of global ultimates in general instead of nerfing champs. And the main difference is that Shen actually was a top tier pick in high Elo play which neither Eve, Jax or Xin Zhao were. Gustaran Wrote:A split pushing Shen will either push down the tower or create a 5v4 situation. To make up for his rather weak split pushing ability (lacking any AOE skill, and never itemizing for damage), Shen has a shit early game, shit mid game, shit late game, shit team fight presence, two worthless skills, a worthless passive, and a worthless ult. Seems balanced. Like Speaker asking(or something like that) me why I brought Chalice on Shen way back when(-_-), and then I realized energy=/=mana.Hah, I remember that. Epic learning moment, for sure. Cull, did anyone tell you yet what happened after you dropped last night? Was much easier late ron in the game (when I was single lane) when I had the mana to last hit with QAfter playing over 50 ranked games with Ryze, I can safely say that it is much easier to kill creeps once you get your Tear, and can use your Q to help with last hitting. Ryze has a very slow autoattack, and low attack damage. My best advice is to stand as close to the creep as you can, which will minimize the travel time of the slow projectile. Once you get your tear, you should be able to alternate last hits: Q - Auto - Q - Auto, and so on. Ryze is a really good character to learn the game on because he can build straight tank (Tear, level 1 Boots, Catalyst, Glacial Shroud, Level 2 Boots--I prefer Mercury Treads--finish Banshee's Veil and Frozen Heart, Hextech Revolver to Will of the Ancients), while still doing a good amount of damage. His trade offs, as you have found, are difficult last hitting, and (as you will find) poor tower pushing ability. "There is no wealth like knowledge. No poverty like ignorance." I'd suppose it would be guys like Terror Incognita, pocketbeetle, Dantski, me, Cull, and an occasional sunrise or Ashain, and DevelopedX lately (he's nowhere on the forums though). I just point out how the mentioned people are rather inferior in skill to you, and mayyyyyyybe Varis, and probably some people I'm also forgetting. (And obviously NumberOneMercury ) |
