I don't believe I'm familiar with that thread, BGN.
I'm just doing my best out here.

All civs are become Parkin. Resistance is futile. Another game I like to play, DCSS, has an annual tournament. The tournament of course is decided by winning games consistently and quickly, but it also has a "side-quest" type of thing where you can earn banners (little flags to put in a forum signature to brag or whatever) for doing crazy-stunts in game. For example, win two games with a 24 hour period, win in under 50k turns, somehow managing to kill two boss monsters within a single turn, etc. http://dobrazupa.org/tournament/0.14/banners.html Anyways, I keep thinking this game needs to have banners, or at the very least this specific banner, that we could put in our sigs: Descent into Madness I: Played a PB18 turn where Parkin controlled two of my adjacent neighbor civs. Descent into Madness II: Played a PB18 turn where Parkin controlled every single one of my adjacent neighbor civs. Descent into Madness III: Played a PB18 turn where Parkin controlled my war ally, my war enemy, and managed to accidentally double-move himself.
That's funny but I don't think we should encourage any more Parkin turns than he has to already endure. As for your Madness flags, I definitely have achieved level one (ooh, achievement unlocked, free Steam Points, Direct IP now included!!) and have an outside shot at level two one of these days. But level three is really the only possible victory condition for this game.

I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

Hey that isn't fair. What if you have neighbors who never miss their turns? You'll never have a chance to earn an achievement because of the distinct lack of nearby Parkinization!
Played: Pitboss 18 - Kublai Khan of Germany Somalia | Pitboss 11 - De Gaulle of Byzantium | Pitboss 8 - Churchill of Portugal | PB7 - Mao of Native America | PBEM29 Greens - Mao of Babylon
Invent an achievement for that then!
Ascent into Gentlemanship I: Play to the end of PB18 with Parkin never having played a turn for you in wartime. Ascent into Gentlemanship II: Play to the end of PB18 with Parkin never having played a turn for you in war or peacetime. Ascent into Gentlemanship III: Play to the end of PB18 with Parkin never having played a turn for you or your neighbors in wartime. Ascent into Gentlemanship IV: Play to the end of PB18 with Parkin never having played a turn for you or your neighbors in war or peacetime.
