Caledorn has taken the game down due to thunderstorms in his area. No comment on when it will be back up but I'm guessing he will post when it's safe to resume. I hope all is well in Washington-Mongolia-Caledornia.

Game back up
As the Americans learned so painfully in Earth's final century, free flow of information is the only safeguard against tyranny. The once-chained people whose leaders at last lose their grip on information flow will soon burst with freedom and vitality, but the free nation gradually constricting its grip on public discourse has begun its rapid slide into despotism. Beware of he who would deny you access to information, for in his heart he dreams himself your master. - Commissioner Pravin Lal, "U.N. Declaration of Rights"
Um, I just realized BaII missed his last turn... should we reload for him? I feel like we should, his civ is doing pretty solidly and he didn't even get a 6 hour courtesy pause... don't know what the current policy is though.

Sorry, I was busy and didn't notice the timer was getting so low. I guess nobody else noticed either since there were no logins for 3 hours prior to the turn flip. I don't believe this was a critical turn, so my ruling would be to play on. Aside from Caledorn and Jojo, reloading would inconvenience Molach and xenu - the latter of which went to an hour's worth of effort of playing his turn earlier. Undoing that would be very unfair. Apologies for the mess up, folks - but play on. Hopefully it won't happen again.
Confirmed, not a critical turn. Play on. Undoing four players' turns including one hour-long session would be more unfair than continuing as is.
Let's all try to remember to keep an eye out around this time of day and pause the game if it's getting below an hour or so. (July 9th, 2014, 03:43)Lord Parkin Wrote: Confirmed, not a critical turn. If he is a sub I'd want to make sure Oxy (the player) was OK with the missed turn. If BaII is a teammate that would just be a team error IMO.
