Indeed, and in case you feed/farm badly just blame it on the latency... lol

I have been playing on a touchpad and a not entirely reliable connection so I haven't wanted to play with people that I would let down is the main reason I haven't been playing with you guys. Coming back to a more reliable internet soon so I will try and change that policy. Would be a lot more fun playing that way smile

The ping is manageable in NA but it does mean my last hitting sucks when I switch between them! I can always just play support...

Didn't see this before I posted. Way ahead of you!

Enoch Wrote:Do you know why top is solo? I would have thought it would have been the other way round with all the buffs in the top of the map.

Hm, similarly, anyone know why bottom in 5v5 is usually the dual lane? Is it to make sure Dragon doesn't get taken if the lane gets ganked?

I think there are two other reasons for bottom in 3v3 to be the duo lane. First, red buff is probably the biggest early game goal. Red buff>two short buffs I think. Second, the people who play TT with no jungle, who are pretty inexperienced at it(like myself), bring the idea that 5v5 bot is duo to 3v3, to create the top 1v1, bot 2v2. (EDIT: Actually, its kinda weird that every low level TT game I've done, about 20, bottom is duo for both teams..)

Bottom is the duo lane in 5v5 for drag control, like you said spellman. I can't count the number of times somebody goes top, they go do drag. Or our jungler ganks top, doesn't kill, and they just straight do drag easily, with us little way to stop 4v3. If they send 2 top, you send two bot. This would lead to both of the 1 in the 2v1 being zoned, BUT the bot lane gets free drag whenever they want. Push lane, force 4v3 drake with one of the 3 being super zoned. Outside of that, its just habit I guess.

2 bot in 5v5 is because like others have said you want 2 people in one of the lanes closer to drag. Since its a lot easier to deny xp gold in side lanes, 2 bot is preferable to 2 mid.

Just 1 report in a game.
Reason: "Verbal Abuse"
Comments: "there was no need for the coment he made at the end."
Evidence?: The reported player said "aww gg".

I did some more tribunal to test my "they judged all the worst offenders first" theory. My first case - build is 6 boots of speed wink I did end up pardoning one of the three people I judged, but it does seem like some bad apples are still in there.
Jowy Wrote:I take that back. This is still ELO hell...Our mid Annie was 1700 ELO but lost the lane to a Kayle. 0-5.

I actually do believe in ELO hell, at least more than Speaker and Sullla (though I also suspect we may be more different in our semantics than in our actual views) but I might the game you reference more of an example of random variation or a bad ELO system as opposed to ELO hell as it's commonly described. See for instance some of the Dreamhack games (where the skill floor is absurdly high) for examples of this. I think LoL champs and strategies are intransitive, so the champ that owns one game might get owned the next even without taking into account player performance varying game to game.

I agree with this, and it's also important to remember that the singular statement "Annie lost 0-5 to Kayle mid" is basically meaningless in assessing whether a player is good or bad. The context matters WAY too much. Off the top of my head:

- Maybe the Kayle player was better. Better players can beat worse players even with champion mismatches.
- Maybe Kayle's team ganked mid constantly and your team failed to adjust. Hardly a huge indication of Annie's skill in isolation
- A few rolls of the dice changed outcomes. One misclick could have switched an 0/1 score to an 1/0 score and it's snowballing from there.
- The player was having a bad game/day. It happens.

If you watch that player over many games and many champs you can come to an accurate assessment of their skill. I will bet money that if we placed the 1700-level player who went 0/5 as Annie against Kayle on one of our teams for our regular games, that team will win. Not every time, but WAY more than 50%.

Your best guess of a player's true skill is their ELO, not one or two plays you saw in a game and not their KDA in one or two games.

So, If Sullla is on holiday, Will we have games at the same times?

Well nobody was on thursday so I'd say no.

There's no reason why Sullla needs to be there for us to play. Tuesday is designed to be his youtube night but its a popular night for RB people regardless. Thursday was always more RB orientated and not all about Sullla, but he ended up having to run the games anyway. I think we need to be a more proactive and not rely on him running everygame (although he does a great job with it!).

I would be happy to set up the games this week as long as there are people willing to play in them, Cull/Terror/Atlas are all usually willing to set things up too so lets just play some good and fun games toast
