There isn't but I think debug mode should log the priority of every spell they have available already when they pick which one has highest priority to cast.

Where in the log does Debug mode print that? Is it during tactical combat?

Combat spells when the AI is casting a combat spell.
Overland spells actually likely aren't logged by spell, but by spell category to choose from, not sure.

I have encounter something weird recently when test my own mod. Units which not have regeneration which at half health get back to full health in single turn. Is it a feature or a bug? It not always happened but it happened to some units, what could be the cause?

Geomancer tells spell casting range penalty multiplier

I noticed the odd healing bug when modifying killer wasp (mod unit) regen 0 to none. Reloading game with earlier save solved bug for me.

It's a bug, regeneration was healing the wrong unit.

Does anyone find Spell Ward a little underwhelming for a very rare? Yes it can save you certain situations, but it doesn't really help you win the game.
Does it protect against things like corruption and effects from Doomsday etc.?

I'd like to be able to use it offensively and cast it on enemy cities too to help attack them.

Lots of Very Rare spells aren't supposed to help you win the game, they simply serve a specific purpose. Even besides that, Spell Ward CAN help you win the game for SoM victory. It's the best city defense spell available, making it practically invincible to any specific Realm. Unless you're fending off attacks from multiple Wizards using multiple Realms, this one spell can make a defensive war trivial. You can literally ignore invading armies because they suffer an overwhelming disadvantage in combat.

Will it be possible to get some documentation on how exactly auto combat works? Currently the auto combat score modifier is useless because there's next to nothing explaining how it works.
