Oh it's also worth mentioning that I offered peace to Lazteuq. As much as I hate his action there is no reason to cause both of us more stress because of turn splits.

FWIW it is a 25 player game and a lot of people are taking it casual. I don't think it's impossible to come back from this. I don't think it's too much of a spoiler to say you're not the only person to lose a city.  lol And I think having hinduism is a larger asset than you are giving it credit for.

But yeah it's pretty demoralizing.   alright Hope you can pull through, and don't stop updating.

I feel you on taking breaks between games. It's why I made the map instead. I did my part now I get to sit back and watch the carnage, it's an interesting change of pace. hahaha

It takes more then that to silence me. lol Yes, it might be possible to come back from this, but from now on I will take it more casual. I'm not giving up yet.

Good that you mention the map, because I wanted to blurt out some observations. Mind you this is not a criticism. I like the map. From what information I gathered I would predict that the map consists of 5 continent-rings with 5 players on each ring. Knowing RB I think the game will be decided by who owns one whole continent for themself. After that players will abandon ship and give up as usual. I'm sorry if I have to say it that hard, but that's one thing that really bothers me in our current meta right now. On my continent there are from top clockwise Ramk, GKC, Lazteuq, me and Mjmd. So far I would predict that GKC and Mjmd have the best chances of taking the continent.

Ah but what if in your hypothetical prediction more than one player takes over a continent? And we have No score mod does that affect your predictions?

That's absolutely possible that more the one player takes over, but then one of them will take over sooner then the other. Only if both take over nearly at the same time or close by will we not have this scenario. The No score mod won't change much. Look at PB54, where we had a similar scenario with 3 continents and No score. There Miguelito took over and that was it for most players.

I'm finally at peace with Lazteuq. He accepted the peace after I killed his axeman, which I killed flawlessly. At least there is that. bang Meanwhile my wonder attempt and scaled back expansion is paying a heavy price. As you can see Mjmd is coming ever so closer towards my borders. Now I'm less worried about not getting an island city. First there are more then enough islands to get one and second there are more then enough players on differen continents which grant even better trade routes. What I'm more worried about is that Mjmd might try to settle somewhere north of Township.

Interesting things on the horizon. Ramk wants to ally against Mjmd. He has the bigger military force compared to Mjmd right now, especially because Mjmd's power might come from population for a decent part of it. Now the only downside is that I don't really have anything to contribute to a war. But there is one thing. I will connect horse in the next 5 turns or so and could gift it to Ramk. Maybe he needs it, maybe he even is the player, who researched Horseback Riding. We'll see. I at least send back fish for fish.

The bad news is that I lost the race for Colossus. I think I would have needed 5-6 more turns to finish it. Worth mentioning these are the turns I used to research Polytheism, but even with that the race would have been close. At least I got the holy city. The only thing I need now is a Prophet for the shrine and I already have a plan for that: The Temple of Artemis!

I have setup everything to build a bigger project in my capitol anyway for colossus, more then enough people don't like or hate the wonder, so less competition and I wanted to research Masonry anyway. Might as well build the wonder, generate a prophet with it. If it turns out to be a Great Merchant it can still bulb Currency for me.

And Ramk declared on Mjmd. Faster then I expected. Hope the war is going a little bit longer because it will keep Mjmd occupied. Also once again what's your problem Lazteuq. You do realize I can build better spearman? And do you realize that your other neighbor GKC is stronger then you in military power? I would not be surprised if he tries to move a settler through the jungle to settle on my side, we still have 5 turns of peace to go. By the way I have two Phalanxes already.

I founded my lost city again, appropriately named New Nobilia. Laz did not send a settler through the jungle so far, but his immortal moved closer. If I get the chance to kill it I do it. No mercy for Lazteuq.

Looks like I will need my horse for myself and with it some chariots. I do hope that GKC will punish Lazteuq in the near future for this mindless aggression. Don't forget Lazteuq isn't that much more powerful then me. I think it goes without saying that it is of utmost importance that I settle the blue stone spot next.
