As you can see we now have a solid border against TT with the planting of 'The Cedars', and a settler heading out from Windsor next turn which will be named 'Plymouth Express' (unless thats too long).
Should keep me in the lead on the city count

Looking at that border, any attack by either side is going to be a bloodbath! The mountain and lake form a choke meaking defence a lot easier than attack.
Shame the game has stumbled.

Yup, will have to remove the foliage north of the cities, but with my empire strung out as it will be, I expect to have a moderate navy, so may try a backline naval invasion if I do end up attacking

I will update Diplo in a bit, but as a reminder more to myself than anything:
NAPS:
TT - 125
Piet - 150
(Piet and TT) - They have 10 min cooldown rolling NAP
Trade:
OB - Everybody but Terror
Health for Health - Ioan and Piet

Well, Pymouth Expres (just 1 character short!) got founded, but already the north is feeling the effects of Stonehenge, so I may have a bit of a culture war there.
Everything else is ticking along, whipped out a few workers as I am starting to suffer from lack of them now. TT is matching me on cities, but I am ahead of the others right now, so not tooo worried about being last in score right now.
Also got judaism in Styles, but holding off revolting until I land colossus.

Been a bit sloppy posting diplo, but realised I hadn't touched based with Ioan for a while, so sent a hello.
He asked what the turn number was Wrote:Hi Ioan,
Hope things are going well, not talked in a while, but don't really have much to talkabout right now. Hope your mini war with Terror went ok
As for turn the one you passed on which I just played was 68

His Reply Wrote:Hi Jkaen ( or should I call you Stephen on real name ? ),
Yes - my mini-war with Terror went OK : I captured one of his workers and he concede me the disputed settle-area near gold + pigs. ![smile smile](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/smile2.gif)
I want to ask you something ultra-confidential : what are your relation with TT in this moment ? I have a NAP until T75 + 5 turns cooldown period with him ... which I don't intend to extend after ... ![wink wink](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/wink2.gif)
Best regards,
Ioan
I guess I know why he wanted the turn number Wrote:Ioan,
Jkaen or Stephen, I don't mind.
I am not getting on that well with TT, and he is my obvious area of expansion, however unfortunately your timing is just off as I recent agreed to a NAP extension till T125 so I am not able to help with any war of aggression towards him atm. Sorry, I guess its my fault for not talking to you more.

Quote:Hi Stephen,
Well ... it's the fault of both of us the fact that we don't communicate better. ![frown frown](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
Could I ask you to not sign any other "addition" to this NAP - like an Open Borders agreement or so ? ![wink wink](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/wink2.gif)
His expansion became a really issue - and he placed Stonehenge in a very inconvenient position for me ... so I need to do something, at least to intimidate him & stop his REX. ![smile smile](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/smile2.gif)
Best regards,
Ioan
Quote:Ioan,
I do already have open borders with him, but will not sign anything else.
I agree stonehenge is a bit annoying, he is starting to pressure me culturally as well. I do now have a solid cultural border against him to his south (thats where I am btw) but I think he has a bit more room to his east before he hits Piet's borders, so he can get more cities in still.
I may see if I can get a couple more military builds in and place them on my border with TT when you atack him, I won't break the NAP, but maybe it will make him worried enough I might, that it will draw soldiers over from defending against you?
Jkaen
Now, while I will not break NAPs, given this is my first game, I guess TT can't be sure of that right?
Hence I don't feel too guilty about 'conducting military manouvers' to draw some troops. Ioan is being very helpful stopping everybody elses farmer gambits, but it means he is stuck, if memory serves me right, on 4 cities atm.

Shame you didn't contact Ioan a few turns earlier! Stealing TT's border cities would have been a real boon!
Sweet on landing Judaism!
When Styles grows in 2t will you be able to whip the collossus? It may be worth it as the city will be mucho unhappy. I wouldn't normally condone whipping wonders as you lose hammers.
Looks like there are 2 revolts to be done soon then! HR and OR and to Judaism! Shame that means 2t of anarchy...
