Assassin in the Palace (WW minigame)

scooter Wrote:I saw it, but that wasn't an explanation, it was just a stating of what you've been doing. You said "it's because of the Bigger crusade and the fact that I'm a guard." I don't think that is an even remotely satisfying explanation.

The reason I've been voting early is because I've been fairly certain that Bigger is the assassin, and if not he is a really bad guard. he's been my leadoff because I think he really should be lynched, and that it has the highest chance of being helpful to the village.

Quote:The longer an assassin survives, the higher his odds are of winning. Also, you are assuming people would jump on with the assassin, which is a big assumption. You can't be sure. If people ignore the first vote, that doesn't necessarily mean the assassin has caught the king. Let's say assassin votes for X right away. X is not the king. People think the assassin is supicious and the lynch him. An assassin conclusion that "X = king" is not a concrete conclusion, and in this case loses him the game. Not a smart move for an assassin.

Well what you are saying is an unlikely scenario. since *optimal* play for the village would be to get people lynched fast and with as little chances for verbal slipups as possible, it's supposed to be beneficial to bandwagon on the the person getting the votes. Your scenario, if it carries out like that, would be true. But why would the people think the assassin suspicious there? If the assassin has been keeping from public suspicion he's not in danger there, and if he is then he's already messed up.

Quote:Interesting that you accuse me of "getting my vote in early" when Bigger actually voted Zakalwe before me, and he's the one you're crusading on. So you're saying you're voting for me because I'm doing X, when in reality I'm doing the opposite and the guy you've been targetting all game (Bigger) is actually the one doing X. I'm really confused by what you're saying/doing right now, it's really inconsistent.

Nope. Not what i'm talking about.

I'm talking about votes at the beginning of the day designed to start bandwagons. All I was saying is you also seem eager to get in votes at the start of the day, and I'm finding that suspicious. I know Bigger is doing similar things as well, and I would LOVE to have him lynched, since I think that would be a very good pro-guard move. However, since no one else seems to care, I think you have suspicious actions too, and I would be okay to lynvh you. If you would wanna join me on a Bigger lynch then by all means I'll switch, but we're at too few people to just keep my vote on someone pointlessly to make a statement.

Yeah, I'm not buying that at all since scooter broke his own "cases are anti-castle" rule to make a case on Zakalwe and is now trying to pass it off as some sort of tactical vote.

I guess I'm not sure how you think I'm acting scummy. :P I saw someone who I think had questionable behavior and I'm calling you out on it, so that makes me the bad guy.

Read the first three sentences of my Zak post. That was supposed to be the clue.

Curious, what were you looking for on your vote swaps?
