I've changed the leader colors because we had too many orange civs in play. Willem now has a lovely shade of Mayan blue, and Isabella is sporting the green of her fellow religious zealot Aztecs.
Note the scheduling for Game Five. Next week will be the opening of the NCAA basketball tournament, which is one of my favorite sporting events of the year, and I'd rather be watching those games than running an AI game. We'll take a break for one week and then come back again on Saturday, March 28. Good luck with the predictions, and let me know if anyone has further questions.

I have little interest in mods, designing them or playing them. I know that Realms Beyond has been going pretty heavily into Civ4 mods in recent months, one reason why I've barely posted here recently. They're simply not for me - I want to play Civ4, not the K-mod version of Civ4 or whatever other version might be out there. More power to those who like them. K-mod is a completely new game in its own right, one with its own gameplay rules that I know nothing about. I'm not particularly interested in staging a competition between K-mod AIs, regardless of how well they might perform from a gameplay perspective. So I'm afraid that I have to decline this offer as well, since I'm not investing a lot of time and effort into something that doesn't hold my interest.

Any longtime Civ4 SP players gets to know the AIs like they were people around your neighborhood... Isabella as the crazy old church lady, Tokugawa as the cloistered hikikomori, Montezuma as that asshole who flips out when you park on the curb in front of his house (you don't own that curb, buddy!), etc. I've always thought that was something that the Civ4 AI didn't get enough credit for - even though they don't play so good in general, they at least play different enough to be memorable and distinct.
Thanks for sharing. Hmm... I actually wasn't aware of K-mod before this. I just looked at and it goes farther than I would have wanted for an AI competition by changing some of the rules. I thought that some of the better AI mods didn't touch the rules but helped with those immersion-breaking *facepalm* AI moments, such as one leader blowing their superior military and technological advantage by sieging a city forever or declaring war against a weaker neighbor who has a defensive pact with a much stronger civ. The holes in the AI's reasoning (considered separately from individual AI personalities) has decided some outcomes.
Still, Sulla is putting all the work into this, so I won't go on about it any further. Still loving the tournament!!

Hey, just a reminder that we will be picking up the AI Survivor event again tomorrow at noon EST. If you still want to get in a contest entry, there's a little less than 18 hours left to do so. See some of you tomorrow.

Wow, that's "winning personality" bracket if I've ever seen one.

Apparently the war declaration count remains low when the AIs start wars... and never sign peace until the opponent is dead. We had one peace treaty the entire game!

Yeah I didn't watch the game but when I saw only 6 wars I wondered if you'd forgot to put a 1 in front of the 6. The AI's aren't normally this efficient...
