[Spoilers] It's time to be casual again

Yeah, I'm around. Just haven't had much to say, what you've been doing makes sense to me. Edit: and the pace has been very slow, so not much new has happened.

Ought to be able to play tomorrow, no problem.

We're much closer to Dreylin than I thought. Either that or he, like Jowy, settled twice in our direction.

Ok, I guess we have a second reason for sailing, then. Going to be out of possible city spots relatively soon between him and jowy.

Next turn our demos will stop being terrible, and venture into the meh category

Huh. I knew that our demos would be somewhat suppressed because all our cities are small, but I still didn't expect *that* much difference between us and average. And we know that no one has all that many cities because the monster counts were low.

I don't get it.

On the turn we met Jowy he had more pop in his second+third city than we had overall. We've probably whipped more than anyone else so far because imp whips on settlers are great.

Horse spawned in a convenient location. I think a monument before granary makes sense.

Next turn I double whip the settler in the capital. Then the granary.

Demos are better. I put the science slider at 0 after that, so we're now sitting at 26 and 11th place. But it will get better I think.

Hmm. We're planning to plant a city already that can grab the horse. I can't remember, do we have a plan for the corn? Monument is probably worth it for corn, with early horse as a bonus, but I don't know if it's worth it for the horse alone. At least, assuming we are going to be pushing settlers fast enough that we have horse before any hypothetical wars...I realize that's not an automatic thing now lol

I'm not worried about GNP yet. First, techs aren't terribly urgent compared to more cities. We ought to be working mainly food and a few hammers at this point, not cottages.

Second, even if I did care about GNP already, everyones' GNP is still low enough that culture is a huge part of it. Creative civs, religions, these will inflate several of our opponents.

The horse city is not in the next 2 planned city sites, and I was going to propose a bold city plant after that to be sure to claim some land. So Horse is going to come only from Choucroute for now. Corn will be shared IIRC, but it's also in the second ring for the other city site. Monument first is really the better option I believe.

I forgot a preview on Choucroute.

I have no idea what the name of the cabbage-like white thingy is in English. But it's really good.

I'm not sure if I'll have much time tomorrow evening, can you check in in case I don't have time to play the turn ? If the turn rolls just right I may be able to play it in the morning, but that's a long shot.
