You definitely want to have flat AD reds and probably AD quints. Dodge yellows and whatever blues (expensive CDR!). Swapping in Movespeed quints could be worthwhile too because Udyr has such serious gap-closing issues that every bit of movespeed helps.

I agree that Tiger vs Turtle depends on lane match-up: go Turtle first against Rumble and Tiger against everyone else. lol

Think MS would be most ideal IMO, so even dat ashe can't run from you with.

Wickd streaming lane udyr right now.

Also: Summoners are either flash-teleport, flash-ghost, or flash-exhaust(vs Rumble :o). Could see ghost-port, and flash-ignite.

Ok, after playing around with it, I would build lane udyr like so:

W>Q>W>E>W then Q>W>E>R, but I would probably put a second point into E at level 8 for the increased movespeed bonus over damage.

The sustain is way more important than the damage early in lane. You want the damage from tiger to kick in mid-game, but the mana costs early game still hurt unless turtle gets a few points.

I would build him boots/cloth -> wriggles -> boots2 -> Wits End -> Trinity -> Tanky.

For masteries, I would go 9/21/0 or 12/18/0 - focus on atkspeed and armpen in offence and normal defensive masteries, ensuring the dodge ones are chosen.

For runes, I'm set on either armpen, AD, or movespeed quints, but Reds must be atkspeed, yellows must be dodge, and blues must be magic resist of some kind. Atkspeed boosts udyr's damage and sustain way more than flat AD or armpen reds would. Summoners would be basically Flash/(ignite/teleport/ghost/exhaust) depending on what is needed.

I agree that turtle vs tiger is very subjective based on the lane.

Also I will be very surprised if they don't remove the wriggle's proc working with turtle stance so have fun with it while it lasts.

booo. I never bought Udyr and now a broken awesome mechanic is getting patched? I want to use it to smash faces!

In other news, tried out Cait for free week against bots. Um, wow. Wonder if I can get her right against real players too.

My reaction: I never ended up using net for anything (too bad, as I did need an escape more than once), and I didn't do nearly as well with Ace in the Hole as I expected -- the long channel seemed to mean that somebody would beat me to a kill often, the bots would bug out frequently so that it was overkill, and when laning it always seemed to do not quite enough damage to secure a kill.

The last of these, I suppose, is an indication that I need to learn to do the math.

Yeah, it's a lot like Sniper in DotA imo. You use it to secure that kill when people are alone or running away, but you need to be very careful to make sure they don't have a heal or someone to block (i.e. don't use it in the middle of a teamfight). Also, very carefully watch the HP bars to learn to click on them and check the numbers on the top of your screen.

Here are some details on the planned stealth rework: http://www.leagueoflegends.com/board/sho...p?t=958111

Long story short: Eve/Twitch are permastealthed but all champs have short range perma-oracles. No mention of how Shaco is being handled.

Or Vayne.

Here is that double kill I had tonight, for Cull and Varis, and anyone else who wants to see it. The framerate is a little screwed up at the end. I was having trouble compressing it with Handbrake, and finally just re-Frapsed it at a lower quality, from the original video I had made.
