[90 Spoilers] Saxony's splendour and Miguelusten's glory

Its too bad you have to focus so much on Shangion. Its a pretty easy hop skip to go after Plemo. Shangion has to be just cratering his economy while providing basically nothing. Gotta love this meta! shakehead

I don't know. Ari's economy doesn't seem tanked, and with how scarce land is on the contested blobs him priving us of some really manages to damage us. And regarding Plemo, we just really don't have production potential to put pressure, or that's at least what I feel.

He whipped this turn:

A lighthouse. Bit weird, considering that next turn he recovers the cow and grassland, and his worker is finishing the plains cottage this turn. I think I'd have preferred the granary. But maybe you are right and he just really wants to make some coin there.

We can trade resources with Plemo now:

He has as more food resources connected than we have in our borders, if we don't count that cow that we're about to lose. But notably no more luxuries than we have. Also no horse.

I don't quite understand how the trade connection works:

Assuming the cape in the SW is as icy as ours are, I don't know how he sails around it. There are no roads in his territory. We have no trade route with any of his cities, so the connection seems to be one sided thus far.

We also met civac's Qin:

You'd suppose that he got some boost for his start to make up for traits, but it appears that he's been doing worse than us? naufragar can't really be the culprit, having settled up on us while generally maintaining a lowcity count. F4 tells me that Ari declared on him at some point, but now they are trading copper/copper and some luxes. So probably he also has problems with someone on the other landmass?

Who can spot what's interesting in this picturesmile?

Also continuing to scout naufragar:

Is this already the trade route to Edirne? If yes, from next turn on that scout is going to pay for himself. If we're lucky (lucky because I don't know how the mechanics work) we also get routes to his home island, those would be worth a lot.

Also seen: More cottages than we have total in our empire, despite the super early pottery (which however enabled 2 of them to be villages, for quite a while already). For the moment it doesn't matter, we're doing great with Fin coast. Long term... why would we think about that? But we'll get a shrine so that's going to be neat.

I have trouble finding time to report properly (but the glacial turn pace might still allow it), but you might take a very close look at the minimap smile
