Shoot the Moon Wrote:I'd be fine with mackoti taking over for Cjreynol. I'd also understand if he wanted to re-pick leaders/civs, as, to put it bluntly, picking Mali with the 3rd pick was quite weedy If we were to pick new civ/leaders, I think we would need a new map though, as having 4 players know the map before picking would be quite unfair.
If Silent is also gone, I'd also be ok with just calling the game off.
I do want to continue, either by this game or a new game, although I understand where your coming from.
I'll give Silent a couple of days to respond. If he doesn't, we can probably start organizing a new game (I'm sick of waiting).

OK well, looks like Silent is gone too. With him gone we're down to 3, although mackoti and Serdoa are available so that nicely balances things. Looks like the 2 of you are in if we can start up again. Could you both post your timezone and email address?
I think we'll might have to start a new map though, unless Serdoa wants to take over Silent and mackoti wants to take over Cj from T1 (unless we can guess their password from a later save). The turn order might have to be changed as well if the current order isn't reasonable. What do the rest of you think?

I certainly have no issue to play on with your map or use a new one if we can find someone who would provide it in time.
If we do start a new map though, it would be nice to also be able to re-assess the leader-choices.
For the address: serdoaciv [at] googlemail [dot] com
timezone: GMT+1 (well, right now+2, but that changes on 31 October)
Playing time is between 6pm to 11pm

If you want a new custom made "mystery" map, I've an idea and some free time to make it. Please let me know, if you want me to prepare the map and your preferred settings.

I'd agree with a new map and new leader picks if that's what our new players want (and I'm certainly think they are entitled to that. I wouldn't want to play an entire game with someone else's ![smoke smoke](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/smoke.gif) picks.)
@mackoti: I'd be fine with AW Inland Sea (or AW custom map too). That's just one vote though, so what do the others think?

I'm ok with that as well. I think if plako can provide his mystery map, I might be best to use that, so that we get the game off quickly. Won't be inland sea probably, but it surely would be interesting, especially because we do not know what is there. In a AW situation, that might make things even more interesting.
For the leader picks: Yes, if we have a new map, please new picks. Especially if it is AW.

Alright, we'll have another pick for leaders/civs. Can someone randomise the 5 of us so we can get a snake pick order? (I'm presuming a snake pick, since that's what we did originally)
I agree with Serdoa that I'd probably prefer to play plako's map since we can get it started quicker. Personally I wouldn't want to play AW, although I'm fine if everyone else wants it.

Shall we start an official vote just to get things moving?
Plako's map: I vote yes.
AW: I vote yes.
