[SPOILERS]Luddite: A Man, A Plan, An Also-Ran

Enemy forces eliminated =)

He killed all my chariots, but that's OK. 5 chariots for 5 horse archers is a trade I can live with, especially since the resulting XP gave me a GG.

I decided to put my research on construction. If I miss the MoM that'll be annoying, but I really want to be able to use roads across rivers so I can defend both northern cities more easily.

Oh, and I revolted into Rep. 2 of my cities were unhappy, and I should have several turns of reprieve before Sian attacks again, so this seemed like a good time to do it. And I settled a new city in the far south. Soon I will have copper!

Well I didn't say I was going to USE the copper ...

So this was a depressingly conventional turn. First I connect copper (@Pindicator I'm proud of this city name...)

Then made some... NORMAL builds, wow!

I did make one odd worker choice though. Sian pillaged my road to the northwest, and I no longer need the gold happiness (for right now) so I took that worker off road duty and sent him up to repair the road.

And the civ stats. I have 50% more land than Scooter, he has 50% more population. I'll catch up quickly though, now that I'm finally getting granaries:

Oh, and the demos. I'm pretty sure Scooter is #1 in food and hammers. But I'm still ahead of the others, which bodes well for the future. My lead in land area now is just ridiculous.

The way this game has turned out for you so far is fascinating. Got any city screens?

I was trying to find an appropriate image or youtube link for Unterland, but Viacom is pretty ruthless about their IP. Speaking of Venture themes, how are #21 & #24 doing?

Thanks! I have a feeling the most interesting part of this game is over, though. From here on out I can just outgrow and outtech everyone, unless Sian wants to try one last charge.

I settled Cao Cao in the capital this turn, which also finished a granary. I can pump horse archers out of here for a while:

And my northern cities have ridiculous food surplus (even without any fishing boats). Venture Compound is lightly defended though, maybe I should put another archer there. Oh, and stonehenge doubled its culture this turn XD pretty soon it will pop borders again, giving me nice visibility of any incoming attacks.

Then my weaker cities, Brisby and Unterland, are just slow building a granary. All my cities have whip anger and I'm waiting for that to go away.

Still no cottages! XD And no religion spread either.

I just had them sitting in the northern cities this whole time. But this turn I sent them out north to explore. I found this clip on the AS website:
