Game Eight wasn't quite as crazy as the last two but still proved to be a very entertaining match. And the winner was... not who we expected. Thanks to everyone who was able to turn out today and take part in the Livestream. Special thanks to Burninator and Kjotleik who won the picking contest for Game Seven with a tied score of 21 points apiece. So, can I just point out that the next game will be on October Friday the 13th? This is gonna be one spooky game, I can already tell!

Has the wildcard always been this much of a mess or am I just not remembering past seasons. This is a MESS. Anyone who guesses the winner wins the whole season in my book.

Hard to say. Last year's had 11 but the first season had less, I think.

BTW, something I noticed in some of these write-ups, some of these are from write-ups before peace weight started being consistantly missing, and I think a few are missing that. For example I think Brennus doesn't mention it. Since it is one of the more important stats for figuring out a game but also not something easily found, it'd be nice if they were made sure to be included in written previews.

De Gaulle is actually the leader most likely to declare dogpile wars - his DogpileWarRand is only 20 (the lower the value, the higher the war chance). This might've helped him with his surprise win.
