If we do, then we'll just spend those days constantly going over it and it will distract us. Why not do what we are already going to do later, earlier? We get the info while there is more time to use it and we don't waste yet more time over it.

Qgqqqq and Catwalk aren't going anywhere either so why are we going for them over someone who we KNOW will give us more information and stop the village going around in circles?

The mafia benefit from having us going over and over the same stuff every day, why are we letting them? This is also why I still subscribe to the theory that novice should have been lynched earlier.

Lets do the sensible thing and resolve this issue now so we can follow it where it leads, rather than spend another four days dithering and speculating without a clue if we are right or wrong?

TT what info do you think you get from them turning up either option. I am not sure it does tell us all that much

Makes sense, I guess. After seeing the targets Mattimeo protected, I feel a sudden urge of lynching him. It was just terrible bad play. He risked being killed and lost the chance of protecting someone or blocking a wolf.

Maybe we have a tracker, as the wolves had a watcher. It would make sense. And I love how Mattimeo claim of protections cover all bases: he can still be useful, if he's village; he would give a null result everyday; he didn't need to justify why he protected someone.

Gah, stupid power role claims. I'm really torned about it. On one hand I want to lynch both Injera and Mattimeo. On the other, I find this bad play.

I thought about the situation some more and, considering meta, a wolf Injera would be very bad. 2 investigative roles for the wolves and none for the village? And what would the wolves need to investigate that much? We seem to be really lacking in power roles here, only the oh, so very good, masons.

So, metawise, Injera role seem to fit as the one of a villager. The risk-reward ratio also points against lynching Mattimeo. So, I keep having a very bad feeling of having my hands tied...

Damnit...

Well the death of Mattimeo explains

- if we did indeed manage to have two wolves on the block on the first day, which then gives us even greater cause to look at the Bigger voters.

- whether we do have some mystical cloaker or not (I think not), which means those that defend the claim after it came under scrutiny could be considered from the new knowledge that they were defending a wolf or not.

- it gives us closure on the issue of Mattimeo's innocence or not. We don't have to dredge through one or two more days of it just to lynch him out of desperation later.

We have to start tying up some loose ends or we will end up guessing until we are all dead. This is the best option.

The fact that there are so many more people asking for him to be given more time than to kill him now suggests to me that he is mafia. If he wasn't, I'm sure the wolves would be happy to tie this up now and have him killed.

And while it could be faked, Injera following Mattimeo would point him heavily in the direction of villager camp, if Mattimeo is Mafia. Even so.... It's though...

And the fact that Mattimeo was seemingly up for the lynch until Injera (under not huge pressure) claimed his role which some seem to think will be able to clear him or them both (when I don't think it can) seems like it was a convenient enoguh cover for people to start talking about him being 'given more time'.

He has been given more time and he's done nothing of use. Why give him more and expect anything different?

From what I understand we have Mattimeo protect Injera tonight.

Mattimeo dies we know his alignment
Injera dies we know Mattimeo couldnt protect and we lynch
Somebody else dies, Injera can confirm if Mattimeo visited him, which means we know at least he probably has the role claimed. If he didnt visit we lynch

Only downside I see is if Injera is wolf and lies to get a Mattimeo mislynch, but as thats what everybodyu wants to do today anyway, then why bother speaking up?

How could Injera confirm mattimeo if he would be cloacked, which is the same as a role block?

Ah, whatever, I'll just follow my heart here. If anyone wants to blame me for it afterwards, I don't care.

And if he's indeed Mafia, major props to TT.

This is just too risky and IMO, too open to wolf manipulation.

If one of Mattimeo and Injera were proven villagers with their powers proven, then it would be worth doing.

But neither of them are and both have been on the block recently. I'm sorry but this plan is just reeking of delaying tactics for no good reason other than to try and get another mislynch and keep the uncertainty going.
