Well, all it really shows is that it apparently costs more than 5 million dollars to make a proper replay client for LoL.

Btw Sullla uses two different gold per five items in his newest video. I thought the gold per five effects were now unique. Anyone know how it really works?

Unique means you can't stack 2 of the same item and get the effects from both. In this case stacking 2 Philo stones would give you both HP regen + Mana regen from them, but the gold per 5 is unique so only one of those counts. Its like you can't stack Hextech revolvers spell vamp anymore or stack sunfires damage to nearby enemies either.

I'm surprised that stacking gp5 was dropped so easily.
A $5M prize pool is sort of meaningless if it's split into 10,000 events. I mean it is a sign they've earmarked that many dollars to marketing via competitive events, but it doesn't speak to the quality/draw of any individual event vs their competition.
