[spoilers]The Courts of Chaos: Thoth disrupts the Pattern

If you're sure that's the only difference, it sounds like I can just give you what you've got here and then add 10g to your civ. Any reason not to?

That is fine, but I've made a request in the tech thread to move my capital to it's intended location so best to hold off on the edits until after the other players have weighed in on if they want to allow it or not.  smile

If it is allowed, the tile that Paris is currently on should be a bare grassland.   Paris should be 1 tile north so it gets both Fish.

Preliminary stab at opening micro assuming correct 2 fish capital location:

t0-revolt-units can't move
t1-4 Cottage 1s of Paris
eot 5 Paris size 2, borders pop, worker moves to forest adjacent to corn
t6 Whip wb (14/22 + 5 food), worker starts corn farm (due on t10)
t7 Wb moves, 19/22 + 5 food, growth to 2 eot. 10 hammers overflow from WB whip into Library?
t8 13/22 work 2 netted fish, +8 Food
t9 21/22, + 8 food. Growth to 3 eot
t10: Corn done, 18/24, +11 food Growth to 4 eot
t11: 17/26, +11 food (Corn, 2x Fish, 1x Grass cottage), Growth to 5 eot
t12: Start settler 11 food/2 hammers/turn. 15/28 food
t16: 2 pop whip settler. ~14 hammers overflow.
t17: Take overflow into library? grow back to size 4 eot. 15/24 food +11 food,
t18: Size 4, start worker, 12 food/hammers per turn. Complete eot 22.

t18? 19? Settle for Copper.

Orleans:

t1-4 +3 food
t5: 12/22, farm completes +5 Food.
t6: 17/22, +5 food, worker moves towards cows. Growth to size 2 eot.
t7: Whip Archer, 3/22 food, +5 food. Start cow pasture.
t8: 8/22, 12 hammers x 1.25 (OR + religion swap) = 15 hammers into Granary
t9 13/22
t10: Cow completes. Growth to size 2 at eot. Gran at 17/60 hammers eot
t11: Work Cow and Corn, 4 base hammers, +6 food. Worker moves to forest. 1/24 food.
t12: Worker starts chop. 7/24 food. gran 22/60
t13: Worker chops. 13/24 food. Gran 27/60
t14: Chop completes for +20 base hammers. 19/24 food, granrary at 32/60 Turn on avoid growth. +30 hammers into granary from chop and base production completes granary at eot.
t15: TURN OFF AVOID GROWTH. 24/24 food, +6 food, +4 hammers, 1 hammer overflow from granary after losing 1 to rounding. Start galley?
t16: 12/26 food, growth to size 4 at eot 18.
t19: Start worker.
t20: Whip worker.
t21: Overflow into temple? or Library.

Those turn times are mostly off by one as I haven't figured out the best time to revolt to whatever religion I spawn.

I don't see any horses in the immediate vicinity so I'm aiming to grab the Copper ASAP with my first built settler. Totestra maps are generally too big for effective early rushes but I'll be keeping an eye on the demographics just in case someone else doesn't realize it. wink Copper also makes Colossus cheaper and all this forest means I want one of Metal Casting or Math very soon.

2 Calendar happy resources and nothing else in sight means either early Calendar or early Monarchy will be needed.

Paris should be where the purple blob marked "Paris" is.   smile

Hmmm.....tweaking micro 'cause I'm bored.....

If I delay the religion revolt until after the Paris settler and I don't whip the Archer in Orleans, I think I can get the settler whipped on t15, grow to size 4 in Orleans at eot 15 with a few hammers into the granary.  Then revolt on t16 while the settler is in transit and two pop whip the granary in Orleans on t17 with the OR bonus.....

Now to rework Paris' growth if I chop the 1st workboat instead of building a cottage and whipping...I could be working both netted Financial Fish on t6.

(thinking out loud here as I type.  smile

t4 chop completes, wb done eot.  (4 produced hammers over 4 turns +  20 chop hammers x 1.3 Expansive)
t5: wb moves, 1 hammer goes into something or other.  25/22 food at eot and growth to size 2, borders pop eot.  Worker puts 1t into a cottage
t6:  Net 2nd fish, 14/24 food +8 food per turn, 2 cumulative hammers into something. Worker moves to corn and begins farm (complete on t10)
t7:  22/24, +8 food, 3 total hammers, growth to 3 eot
t8: 18/26 food.  +7/8/or 9 food. 3+ 3/2/1 hammers.  Growth to 4 eot with 8 or 9 food  (Go with +8 food/2 hammers)
t9: 13 or 14/28.  +6/7/8/9 food.  (Go with +6 food/+5 Hammers)
t10:  Corn farm completes.  Growth to size 5 eot.  Fish/Fish/Corn/Stone = +10 food/+3 hammers.  29/28 food at eot for growth to size 5 with 13 total hammers into something or other.
t11:  Start settler (9 food/5 hammers).  Orleans worker starts Quarry.  Paris worker puts 2nd turn into cottage.
t12:  Orleans worker puts 2nd turn into quarry.  Paris worker moves and puts 1 turn into cottage (road) 1t south of Paris
t13: Both workers put turns 3 and 4 into the quarry
t14:  Quarry completes (and gets worked in Orleans) and settler is whipped from 42/100 for 2 pop.
t15: Revolt to religion, complete road south of Paris, move settler.
t16: Orleans grows to size 4 eot with around 15/60 hammers in granary
t17:  whip Orleans for 2 pop.  Should get around 35 hammers divided by 25% overflow, 28? I think, but there may be an additional lost hammer here.  Paris should be back to size 4 to work the stone this turn.
t18:  ~28 + 4 hammers produced in Orleans this turn.  That's close to 50 hammers into a Financial library with OR added in.    I like that.  smile

Paris' mystery build should probably be an archer or a scout.  I'll want some seaborne scouts soon.....and forges.....and the Colossus.....and more scouting......and a bigger, better economic avalanche.

Honestly I've noticed my play gets better when I report as usually I find something wrong / as "saying" it out loud helps.

Also, test thread posting.

Reporting helps keep me focused for sure.  smile

In this case, I've been sick all week and brain is still a bit foggy and I'm bored so messing about with some micro (and then trying to tweak it) keeps me occupied and helps jump start the brain again.

Someone spent some of their starting gold on tile improvements. Rival best food was 15 and rival best pop is 2000. So someone has a 6 food tile and a 5 food tile.
