Didn't know that either, oops.

Just to let you guys know, some unforeseen circumstances have come up and I'll be rather busy for the next week or so. The discussion can continue, but I won't be able to actually start the game until around next Friday.

Ok, we don't have a full roster yet anyway, if it doesn't fill up soon I'll make a request on CFC (the post on the RB thread hasn't been noticed).

I haven't reflected yet on the rules in the OP, but shouldn't we first lay down the variant before starting the recruiting. I think it's always better to advertise with a well-thought concept. No?

I don't know yet if anyone has questions on the variant, I haven't heard any concerns yet. If someone has an idea, go right ahead and tell everyone.
So far we have I think four people signed up. Dawn (previously), scooter, sunrise089, and Berrie.

I would love to give this a try, Clovis -- so sign me up if you still have an opening!
One question though....what happens if we are unable to found both Judaism and Christianity? I'm 95% sure we can since it's Noble difficulty, but if not, do we lose?

Well, I don't know. It would be relatively close to the start of the game, so we could just start over. Or maybe we could reload a previous save and emphasize the right techs. I think, though, if we prioritize the techs enough, though, it won't be too hard.
As to signing up, I think we could use a fifth player, but unless someone opts out that will be all.
We now have:
Clovis
Dawn
Scooter
Berrie
mrwhite89
Sunrise089 also expressed interest, but he(or she) is already playing RB29, so I think we'll stick to these five.
The game will open in around a week.

I would prefer normal speed and regular map. My PC struggles with large maps (but if the majority prefers a large map, someone else can take my place). Maybe raging barbs to spice things up. I think I only played once with this option set. And the raging barbs can stand for the struggles of the jews and persecutions of the early Christians.
