I just have one question to ask, since we are creative, it might create problems with border pops. What if we arent the land leader after founding a new city, but may become the land leader after creative pops the borders. In this case are we allowed to found that city, or no?

Definitely found the city. At most you'll end up over a few tiles which isn't enough to sweat.

@mostly_harmless - your approach sounds, I'm preaching a "spirit of the rules" message here and if you want to use the demographics screen I'm not worried .

Quick question being new doing epics/adventures. Does No Technology Brokering mean I can trade away what I reseach but cannot trade away techs I get from trades?

Interesting game - and I guessed who the sponsor was after reading the "restored worker" line.

I definately see this as as a game where everyone will just need to keep the spirit of the rules in mind - don't lead in land - more than the letter. Doing otherwise might sap the fun out of what otherwise looks to be an interesting concept.

EDIT: Also nice to see the new language on "unscored" fastest finish games.

I've just come back from the states and seen 3 new games announced! And I'd like to say that all of them look great! Since I haven't started the potluck epic yet, it looks like I'll have a busy September

It may be just as good that this is at emperor. I still haven't finished pot luck, and the next two games look interesting. Unless the work hours drop back to normal, I have no idea how I will find the time to play these three games.

Nope! Sirian finished Civ3's Epic 4 before the game was even opened. He posted the "Game Open" and a personal "Game Complete" message the same day:

The game opened for play on Friday night. I, of course, am playing the same one-pass as everybody else, just that my playtests to ensure map viability give me a slight head start on timing, and in this case that head start was quite significant (which is why I would post "game completed" early on Saturday morning).

I don't think that's ever going to be topped by a non-Sponsor.

Is it mandatory to play this adventure with 3.03 or will 3.02 do?
