Would a slow computer drag out the timer, or does the timer work differently? Also, does that mean the game has to be played in one go, or simply the honour system of "don't think about the game unless you're in it"?
How much spoiler information can I give away from playing the game for only 5 seconds?

I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

It's just a clock that runs in the background. If you want to minimize graphics to increase performance, go for it.  You can think about the game outside of it all you like. (I commonly will mull over various things when driving places, for example.) When Civ4 is up and running, however, you have to be "on the clock." You can't fiddle with settings for a half hour and then reload to cut that time out.

Since this one is all about speed, shouldn't the report date be like tomorrow?
