Apologies for a minor scheduling difficulty. I've sent out a few saves this morning before work, but I have a commitment after work and won't get back to my Civ PC again until around midnight US Eastern.

As for game settings, the F8 screen tells all (this wasn't started from a worldbuilder save.) Barbs are on. Events are on, just for a change; I think every game so far this year has had them off. If you get an event pertaining to a wonder you chose, more power to you. smile

Yeah, we've done corporations before, and the Internet was a bit too obvious, so I left both out of this one.

Quote:Interesting! I'll try it... though never having played at Immortal, I'm in doubt of succes.

IMO, this game can play somewhere slightly below Emperor in terms of real difficulty. So jump right in.

Quote:Question: if our first GP is a Scientist, can be build an academy?

No, as others have answered. The point is to level the playing field between different types of wonder GPP; each type of settled GP has similar production. I don't want to make players feel they have to choose scientist wonders to keep up with an academy.

lol Plus I get the advantage of seeing what everybody chooses, so I can pick the combos that nobody else does [Image: biggrin.gif]

This one sounds interesting. I think I'll give it a shot. I need a bit to think about what wonders I want, though. smile

Now I realize that players can't see that screen until they have the save. bang smoke

All options are as the defaults. So random events are on, barbs are on, vassal states are on.

You may save him if you want the Golden Age later, or if you wanted to settle later for some reason.
