Why do you keep calling Sun Temple Sun Valley?

word association, i spent a lot of time when young camping at a place called sun valley, guess it's just stuck in my mind


in other news, WKs quecha is running away from Robilar while Bigby and Tenser can see the way through to the north, a line of hills

another turn and Hattie turns up from the NE, i don't think she can see Greyhawk yet being spotted by Bigby and Tenser

WK's quecha moved SW but i moved W to continue towards my warrior and Sun Temple

At Greyhawk Hatties warrior moves away north, so i move my new dog Otiluke to chase away Willems warrior



Over at Sun Temple Pacal pulls his quecha back towards his capital so i move my warrior onto the vacated hill tile, i will continue to move him onto the mined hill that was subsequently seen. Robilar continues moving towards Sun Temple while Bigby and Tenser approach from the north. Sun temple now also contains a worker as well as the quecha

i fully expect an archer to appear at Sun Temple next turn if one doesn't and WK doesn't have Archery he's in trouble

Pacal has got an axe in Sun Temple, it looks like the copper is coming from a city to the SE which is connected to the river by the road on the plains.

he'll lose the pastured pigs next turn when bigby comes into view

Pacal still only has one axe in Sun Temple and copper will be cut next turn by my warrior moving onto the plains road.

Bigby is now on the Pigs to the north and Robilar will move to pillage the copper and wheat

My warrior moves east and finds Pacals second city, settled on a gold hill and with an axe already built, the axe can't stop my warrior pillaging the road though as the river stops his movement.

Pacal also sacrifices a Quecha to move Robilar south away from Sun Temple

Bigby moves adjacent to Sun Temple and Tenser follows onto the pigs.

i'm not sure what Pacals next move will be at this stage, he should move his axe onto the copper and then kill my warrior after i've pillaged the road and hope he doesn't get damaged so as to be an easy target for my dog

a quick update without pictures

WK moved an axe adjacent to my warrior, the warrior pillaged the road but died the next turn to WK's axe.

meanwhile Robilar moved onto the mined grassland hill only to find two of pacals axes hiding behind. I at least though Robilar would Kill on axe but even defending on a hill he lost to the first axe at 89% odds

So basically the choke is dead, time to regroup and think of another strategy.

In the North Otiluke has chased Willems warrior al the way back to willems border there to find a Holkan and Archer entrenched on a hill.

a long time for an update, what have i been doing, not much really
i though this wonder would have gone quite early but seeing it was still available i thought i might as well have a run at it and with the help of a three pop whip free culture and one free happy in all my cities



a quick overview of the area i know about, Bigby and Tenser are still blocking the use of Pacal's pigs while Otiluke is up north playing with Willems archers. Rary is going to do a bit of exploring to the south while i decide on a third city site. it's looking like settling on the gold which i don't really want to do but that is by far and away the best option.

Quick Update - WK has got chariots so i've pulled Bigby and Tenser back into the jungle for now, maths is in and now starting on hunting for some spears.
