I never really enjoyed being at poly, didn't remember they did MTDGs for civ3, though I guess they were the one's who invented them for civ(?).

Multi-team democracy games (MTDGs) started at least as far back as Alpha Centauri on Apolyton, around 1999. Might have gone even farther back to the multiplayer version of Civ 2.
