HuskyStarcraft is making like 32K a year off Youtube for his play-by-play commentaries while the great majority of not top tier players make nothing. He gets that many views because the majority of people don't care about being good and just want to be entertained. This is why he's not regarded as a respected caster like someone who does in depth analysis like Day[9] who went to the WCG World Championships. Heck, most of the less successful player-casters like PainUser get a 'he knows what he's talking about' respect that casters like Husky don't get. So in the end I wouldn't sweat it, you're popular with the smaller group of people who are looking to be real LoL players. Isn't that better than having a massive following of people whose average train of thought resembes"lol nub heal > smite so you can solo dragan faster." Anyway, you're supposed to be a Optimate, why do you need to pander to the plebs?
