Funny LoL videos

lol

I feel you should adopt some kind of catch phrase yourself, maybe "I fight for my youtube viewers!" while playing some heroic soundtrack in the back everytime you score a kill. wink

I probably shouldn't watch these... It's disspiriting sometimes to watch someone act like an idiot in a low-skill LoL game, and then get 100,000 views on YouTube. [Image: huh.gif]

1) Cull and I have twice gotten noticed in games because we've appeared in your videos. So you're at least famous enough that your fame rubs off on noobs like us wink

2) Not to simply be contrarian, but in that particular case the panth move did work out at least in hindsight, right? He got a kill for a turret death after all. I'm not saying players should try that though....

I just had a guy in a bot game tell me that I was his idol, from Sullla's videos. He seemed like a nice fella, apologized when he got the kills and accidentally stole the blue buff with his poison. I told him to join tomorrow, but he said he didn't think he was good enough to play with Sullla. smile

Everyone has a niche. HuskyStarcraft is making like 32K a year off Youtube for his play-by-play commentaries while the great majority of not top tier players make nothing.

He gets that many views because the majority of people don't care about being good and just want to be entertained. This is why he's not regarded as a respected caster like someone who does in depth analysis like Day[9] who went to the WCG World Championships. Heck, most of the less successful player-casters like PainUser get a 'he knows what he's talking about' respect that casters like Husky don't get.

So in the end I wouldn't sweat it, you're popular with the smaller group of people who are looking to be real LoL players. Isn't that better than having a massive following of people whose average train of thought resembes"lol nub heal > smite so you can solo dragan faster."

Anyway, you're supposed to be a Optimate, why do you need to pander to the plebs? lol

People doing stupid things is one of the traditional ways to get a lot of hits on youtube lol
