Since Krill was the first player to log in, his first screenshot has everything as it was except for himself (Krillennus).

Starting and you won't hear cheering from me. At least Ivory will let me to build War Elephants that might prove useful. I considered long between worker and WB. I didn't count, but my gut feeling is that worker would be out of work after improving cows so in the end I decided to start with WB.

I think Plako's gut feeling leads him astray here. Worker turns are only wasted if there is something better to do, or if one use of a worker leads to a city working unimproved tiles.

My try to count leads me to believe worker-first would get ahead with 6F, while work boat first would be ahead 18C once both tiles were improved.

Reading Cyneheard's thread is like reading the New York Times: All the news that's fit to print. I don't doubt he could figure out how many beakers you had invested in a technology if he played with his calculator and spreadsheet long enough. (Not to single out only his excellent C&D work, but to distill it out of Rego's thread takes more work because you have to clear away the spam to find it).

I'm strictly referring to the statistics, of course (game with more people inherently less stable than that of less).
There's no reason for lurkers to feel happy about Mortius elimination really, but since the outcome is all but certain we might as well go down joking!

Still won't bother to count, but the differnce between the opening is between hammers and commerce and everything basically boils down, which one you prefer more. Usually hammers are considered better so mistake might have been made, but not a major one.
