46 reports so far. I've compiled the results to date. So far, 19 losses (including abandoned/resigned/unfinished games) and 27 wins. 5 culture wins, 10 diplo wins, 11 space wins, and 1 time win. Three wins and one loss were shadow games, with others needing official inspection.

Wow, thanks. I'm still struggling to get my own report finished on time, so I haven't even done more than peek at some of the others. (One time win? Holy cow.) I've got a lot of reading to do.

I'm willing to post a quick-and-dirty summary whenever, but I don't want to discourage late reporters (*cough* the sponsor *cough*) from posting their results, too. The more reports, the merrier. We're so close to 50, it'd be nice to get there.
BTW, the quick-and-dirty summary doesn't really include checks for rules violations (except those reported), and a number have "issues" to be resolved. So, Sirian, you need to get cracking! Write first. Then read. There's only, what, 9 1/2 hours left to report?

I know. I know! I'm a total slacker. "Do as I say, not as I do." I must be getting old.
I'm not sure I'll have it all done in time, either, although if not, I will have to post the Conclusion before midnight.
And no, for the conspiracy theorists who believe I always intentionally create cliffhangers... Honest, it's only intended about 80% of the time. I just do it so often, nobody will believe me when it's an accident! My fault, I guess.

After reading the reports it occurs to me that making friends with Montezuma, Genghis or both was the way to go! Aggressive use of religion appeared the best way to do this.
In the honorable variant it is helpful to have an warmongering civ to give Washington or India something to worry about besides building spaceships.

Here are my notes on the submitted games to date. In some cases, I went with my gut on what to do (e.g., kryszcztov got a "Resign" just because he didn't finish in time), which is pretty arbitrary. No offense intended.
These results should be viewed as VERY unofficial. I just kinda took notes on the games and then put them into Excel. With 52 games, I'm sure I messed up on some of them. Sorry for that. I assure you it's not intentional.
This post also contains what some may view as spoiler information. It has results and dates for all games. Don't look here too closely if you want to be surprised by how some of the games develop. This is giving away the end of the stories.
I sorted them by W/L first, then by victory type, then by date. So it should be fairly close to showing the most lauded champions (I think everybody who posted a report is a "winner"). The last column is "Shadow" if the player said his game was a shadow. Some that raised questions or I felt while reading that they may have been shadow were marked. This column is by far the most incomplete and least researched. Sorry.
So, without further ado, here they are....

Cool results. Mine was a bit confusing - it should be Resign Loss 1814AD.
It's interesting that in my game and others the AI managed to win by space before most people won by space in their games...I abandoned because Ghandi's tech pace was so fast.

Renata Wrote:Krys gets credit for an incomplete game, but I don't? Well, I tried to put in caveats that I may have missed some reports. I actually read yours, but I didn't record it. Mea culpa. I'll add it.
And, MP, I'll change yours, too.
