It's very dismissable. It's a regular chariot archer that doesn't require horses and has +1 movement. But it still has the rugged movement penalty, which means that if it moves onto any hill or tree or crosses a river then that uses up all it's movement points.
But that doesn't mean I won't mass them if I think it will work

I really like the writeups, very informative and good commentary.

And we're off!
We have sheep, gold, and marble visible for resources.
Gold and marble are fantastic luxuries. Gold gives good gold and production, and later I can build a Mint in the city to increase the gold further. Marble improves wonder production by 20% in the city that is working the tile. So I'll have 15% from marble, 20% from my Unique Ability, and 15% from the Aristocracy policy. I think I need to make wonders part of my strategy. One that stands out for this start will be Hanging Gardens.
Sheep are rather meh as far as a food source. Those hills are all 1f2h, and with a pasture will be improved to 2f2h. One good thing about the sheep is that they will further help my production when I get a Stables built - that will turn the pastured sheep into 2f3h tiles. This city is going to be a production powerhouse!
High production, good commerce, awful food.
I went Pottery first because we're going to want a granary here ASAP. Need to be able to grow somehow.
We'll be able to get 2 scouts down before Pottery finishes, but I may half-build a worker instead of scout #2.
I think Hanging Gardens is a big target early on. That would mean a tech path of Pottery -> Animal Husbandry -> Mining -> Masonry -> Archery -> Wheel -> Mathematics for a direct beeline. Hopefully we have some wheat or something like that in the near fog, because this city may not be so great if we're just crawling along at +3 food.
Demos:
I have no idea what these mean

It's terrible because the base chariot archer is terrible. Before the expansion, it was barely stronger than an archer (6 to 7) and too much more costly (40 hammers to 56). With the expansion, it's mildly usable at 10 strength, but still unexciting. And either way, the UU hardly matters because the 5th movement hardly ever gets used given the rough terrain penalty.

Why is the fog dark and blocky, instead of light and cloudy?

Buy me a new computer and I'll give you cloudy fog
(It's low res setting, in case you weren't being cheeky.)

Funny thing happened when I tried to post earlier:
First off, GMR is awesome. It is very well done. I get a notification when it's my turn, click to download the save, play the game, and when I'm done with my turn it automatically uploads the save for the next player. Very nice tool.
Next turn!
I forgot to mention that we had a ruin nearby. I was actually planning on moving the warrior 2 tiles West last turn, onto the hill, but it wasn't really clear that the river goes between the hill the warrior was on and the tile west of it. So I moved one tile west and that was that. This turn I went for the hut:
And I was rewarded with...
Meh. Not the greatest. Culture or Faith or population would all have been awesome. But maybe my scout will find another and get upgraded to an archer so I can go mess my neighbor up
Well, now I know I'm worst in food and best in manufacturing. Which isn't too bad a spot to be in. I'm just trying to think what I'll do with it...
