Not a sign-up, but thought this might be helpful - it's the settings from 46:

If we're doing RBMod, we don't need to ban anything
For picks, I like Pitboss 13 method (randomly assigned combinations with two vetos)

I'm going to have to insist on a PBEM format. A Pitboss is very stressful for me, and that was when I had a lot of time on my hands, relatively speaking. If the majority of people want the RBmod, we can do that. I've never played with it myself, so that'll be something new to get used to.

Jowy, 2M, Sian, Slowcheetah for PB
Whosit, Yuris, Gaz for small PBEM
oohhaaaiithere, BaII signed up before PB was mentioned, so I assume they want PBEM.
Let's run a PBEM with five players:
Whosit, Yuris, Gazglum, oohhaaaiithere, BaII
And we'll start a new thread with the PB guys looking for more players for a PB game.
How about that? Everyone okay with this?

whatever works. with Pitboss 12 over, Mackoti in full control of 13, and PBEM51 moving at glacial pace, I can play both :P

EEEh, I assumed there wasn't enough popularity yet for PB, so I think i'm going to sign up for that instead.

Aw, well, hopefully enough people get retained for the PBEM.

Just as a matter of interest Whosit, what do you find stressful about a pitboss over a PBEM? People have generally been good about not screwing each other over with double moves in recent pitbosses, and I'll certainly be advocating for AI diplo so the large time commitment is minimised.

I work with a long commute, so I have a very narrow time to play. Missing a window in PBEM seems a lot less catastrophic than missing the time for a Pitboss, where I'd lose my entire turn. The doublemove thing is secondary, but I imagine during a war in Pitboss I'd have even more trouble making sure I could move and play in my window. PBEM just seems better suited for someone with my kind of schedule.
