Let it go: HidingKneel plunges Erebus into eternal winter

Wait a sec; I'm wrong again. The Malakim get an extra bit of commerce from floodplains, so Brian must have been researching something that doesn't get a prereq bonus and had a GNP of 13. This turn his score went up, consistent with researching Agriculture just a bit faster than I could.

My best wishes, HK.

So, how is Queen Elsa's empire?

Is Princess Anna making ill-advised diplomatic agreements with her manipulative boyfriend?
Alternatively, is Olaf trying to give an enemy capital a warm hug?
Have we found out where Weselton is, anyway?

Coming along alright so far.

Since there were a lot of pasture resources out there I went for early AH. Other than that, on a beeline to Code of Laws
(just finished Education, Code of Laws is next). After that I'm thinking I'll fire the worldspell for a free swap and then try to grab the Drama bard. Hard to imagine that I'll miss it with opponents in Stasis while I'm in GA for seven turns.

I've had contact with the Calabim all game, and I just figured out how:

Looks like the map is mirrored along an axis which runs north-south through that Mirror of Heaven tile. I'm guessing that the Calabim found that early with a scout who got eaten by the Scorpion in the screenshot (which promoted to C2). Very nice land in the middle, but to grab it we'd have to settle on desert and possibly contest for it with the Calabim.

Also made contact with the Malakim this turn:

Demo-wise, we're doing okay:

First place in GNP and food, but not by much. Last place in MFG, but again not by much. The Calabim are leading there: they've had a slight lead since the beginning of the game, thanks to their worldspell. Well, I've got one of those too nod.

Lots of Mana on the map. Two raw nodes next to the Mirror of Heaven, one up where I met the Malakim, and two more that are clearly "mine". Then there's Sun Mana from the Mirror itself, and up north of the Mirror is a Tomb of Sucellus which I'm hoping to grab with my next city. Bodes well for someone with Arc/Cha traits.

Oh, and stepping on the Mirror also gave vision on another continent across the southern ocean. It's a strange, magical place sporting some exotic seafoods:
