Turn 75 - 1 AD
Here is the very first turn of this pbem. The game has actually been going for 75 turns ... but a Deity AI played them. You can see what I started with above.
I open the official save and I am greeted with ...
Hence my comment in the tracking thread ...

... given that I was contemplating selling Jute to Inca anyway. I definitely wanted his 2nd stone but I wasn't sure about how much gold per turn to ask for. 20gpt does it for me. However, I didn't want the gold and stone locked together like that ... mainly because I wanted a permanent stone trade. Hence ...
... followed up with a Stone demand. Now, Molach of Inca could accept the first and reject the second. This will be a little test of character.
I worked through my cities, leaving suggested builds largely untouched. I did change a few ...
- A 3-turn 167 hammer Colossus in my Capital - I should be able to land this ... Inca don't have Marble. If one of the players following me in the turn order can knock it off in 2 turns ... then good for them.
- tweaked 5-turn Hagia
- Market in coastal city with Shrine
- Khmer UB (for the extra food - ha ha) in that horrible blocking city
- and only 1 additional worker (sigh)
The two workers in my opponents land I sent home. Tech is set at 0% (+140ish gpt) on Engineering. I should be able to go 100% tech to knock it off over the next few turn. I also spread my two shrine religions to a few cities (started with 4 missionaries).
The settler in the west went further west to found a new city as mentioned in the game review write up. Speaking of settlers - here is the middle of my land with the settler selected. There are a few disgusting but possible city locations ...
My lux resources are pretty slim ...
... so Ruffnar is using MPs for happiness. I had to limit the number of units I could move around for that reason. I also had a stack of 7 axes off for a stroll ... they are heading to a border city.
I also changed the name of my leader (from
Ragnar to
Ruffnar) and civilization (from
Khmer to
Come 'ere)
I offered OBs to France and Wine for Gems to America.
