DTG reload - T45 or wahtever it is...
If it's about his settle, I don't see how that could constitute a mistake. It's a fair spot (I have an X on it too..). So I vote no reload in that case.
If he forgot to move a covering unit for that new city. Too bad. No reload.
If it's something else completely crazy, I guess I'm OK with that, but I'll expect him to replay the settler the same.

T98. Lost the coin flip for circumnav a few turns ago.
Woefully behind, as usual for these games.
More concerning is the metal situation. It hasn't improved.
Nicolae has HBR, and is on Construction(3t). My only copper is 2t from my border with him. Explorations south to fix that have been useless (though I did find a horse at least).
I don't see why he'd choose a target other than me, and without metal I can't even die a noble death.
And 45 minutes later I realized what else I was missing, had to login and check.
It's not just cats and ponies. Nic has Ivory. So in 3t he'll have Jumbos, and if I beeline them now, I'm 13-ish turns away from them.

I'll get another city next turn, forget which one.
If he's attacking me, he's holding the units back where I can't see them. Which gives me 2t of warning if they head my way.

And I found his army. Not that I can see every tile.
Got my first round of catapults out, 3t to finish HBR so I can build my own jumbos. Until then it's spears, which will be terrible.
Need to get a road on the hill N of my capital corn, right now DTG can see my stack 1e of that. I don't want him getting ideas, or getting nervous either.

Nic has to be stacking 2n of Kim II, it's the only tile I can't see that makes sense. He added a couple HA this turn, and turned on currency research.
Wish I knew when KimII will pop borders. It'll push my units off the neutral tile. They should go south if I remember the rule correctly.
Either I missed the sentry promo on his chariot last turn or he promoted it after I played, but if I'd put my stack on the hill I mentioned last post, it would be visible to him.
He can see everything I move that way, and into my Capitol anyway, so not sure what I'm gaining.

Well that was weird.
Nicolae declared last turn, pushed 13 jumbos, 12 hwacha, spear, axe, sentry chariot into my land.
And a separate stack of 3 chariots and 3 HA out in front of those.
Then he offered me a white peace?

Cost me about 20 whip unhappy (across my very few cities), but Nic ran away and offered 10t of peace.
His army, which could have moved to my Capital corn after me on T114. Guess he didn't like the sims.
Majority of mine in 2 shots
And my pathetic city screen.
Unless I see that army keep trundling north to attack Russia or something, I'm not out of the woods by any means.

Nic still has his army around. I have city visibility on him (yay Ziggurats - heck, in 2 turns I'll have enough to build a completely unneeded Forbidden Palace), and I'm playing before him, so I can see his builds when they complete before they can scamper off into the fog. He's only added 1 Hwacha and a HA that I've seen so far, but it was already close enough that if he'd pushed the issue he would have won the fight (granted, at a very high cost). Rest of my cities have individual archers, so he'd trample over those.
So for my remaining 7t of peace do I bang out more troops, or fill some of the dozen city spots I have dotmapped and/or let my cities regrow. I have a LOT of room to my south and west.
I'm leaning towards the builder option in most cities, as otherwise I'm doomed to irrelevance anyway. Even if I hold off Nic, at some point the Zulu will roll me from the south.
Economics. Cash saving complete. Currency in 5t. That currently will add 24gpt to my income. ~8 turns to Calendar after that, which will boost my food a bit, and gain me some happy cap room as my cities grow. Since I have no immediate need for CoL, I can avoid the center of the tree for a while after that.
