Sorry fish 1S of cap
Glad I asked, that's kind-of invisible.
Will take a look at combos and think for a while. Don't think it'd take more than a day or so, but any deadline?
Just on you guys to start playing. All the other starts screenies were with the settler selected in my defence

Does that mean that if everyone picks, for example Julius of Carthage, that you might remove that option?
Here's my preliminary list:
Julius / Carthage
Louis / Portugal
Qin / India
Washington / Greece
I might revisit these later, but if everyone else has picked these can be locked in.

Basically yeah. I was tired and sleepy when I made them wanting picks to go out. If I made a boo boo and there was a super option then I should remove it really!

Thoughts behind the picks:
I was thinking coming into the game that I wanted to play a somewhat aggressive combo and go adventuring - not something I do much, and in a small field there's less downside. Genghis was who I was thinking, to pair IMP expansion with AGG.
Starting screenshot instinctively suggests to me that Workboat first is the right approach, partly to get the Fish going ASAP, and partly because maneuvering a Worker between the Corn and Pigs is going to be a pain in the @rse and cost quite a few turns. So 3/4 of my picks start with Fishing, and the other is India.
Of the fishing Civs, the Julius/Carthage combo is (IMO) the best as it has 2 strong traits (ORG on a BTS Toroid!) a quality (aggressive) UU, and a situationally decent UB (although probably not this situation). Paired with Fishing, Mining lets me go BW first ... and chop that forest 1NE to get it out of the way!
Ming as second tech led me to slightly rate Louis above India: 2 useful techs + 2 useful Traits + situational UU vs. 1 useful tech, 1 useful Trait + stellar UU.
Washington rounds out since on a lightly doctored map, the CHM Happy could make a difference if resources are scarce.
Also, if I'm getting a new screenshot with tweaks (not that I think tweaks are needed), can I request resource bubbles please!

Done. I'm also thinking Stilettos for stabbing someone in the back/side.
