I started the Oracle in Shaka Ponk. It should be finished in 6-8t. My estimation is that it should be fast enough, because GE got buddhism but already built Stonehenge and I got hinduism, so the others shouldn't be ahead of me except if someone was beaten to buddhism by a turn and decided to capitalize on his research by going priesthood next.

I triple whipped the oracle this turn. I'm taking MC with it, it's the most efficient use of it I can make. There's a settler in construction in the cap, and I'll start another one in my second city in 2t.
T50 overview, where lurkers can analyse how much the oracle pushed me back in growth (I'm not sure myself).
(demos before I ended turn and grew 2 cities)
I finished a forge in Shaka Ponk this turn, and let the city grow to size 8 (thanks to the new happiness from doubled silver and gems). The game decided to put it in an engineer slot. I think I'll keep it that way : it means I'll have an almost 50% chance of getting a GE in 10t (the other 50% chance is the great prophet from the oracle unfortunately).
This turn's demos show that I'm probably in the lead. I now have the added pressure of not screwing it up.

Played in PB27
I'm probably worse at civ than barely conscious Krill.
Nevertheless I think I'm first to currency this turn ! Or at worst tied with Pickle. Also I need someone to explain how GingerEagle can be doing so badly. He's around 40fpt in his whole empire, I'm now at 82. I grew tall (unlike Pickle and Dreylin who grew wide) yet I have 6 cities to his (IIRC) 4. |
