Day 1 being 72 hours with only 7 players seems like it will be on the slow side, I have to say. It won't be until Day 2 that this game really gets going.

If days are going to be that long and there are no night-kills, do we really need a night phase at all? Otherwise Lewwyn and Jabbz will be rolling into their Total War forums game before this one has even picked up steam.

What do you think about the setup?

Confusing. Most of all we are voting in red to lynch someone blue    
If there is no special reason the first day seems to be very loooong.

Not to mention that were it real world I would currently root for the Aliens

Odd setup is odd.

So my understanding would be that scum get to put 3 townies up for lynch on day 2, and we as town have to decide which one we can most afford to lose? Is there any possibility of killing a scum on day 2? There almost has to be at least 1 scum in the trio put forth, otherwise with our limited number it outs the scum as one of the 3 people not in that pile.  My head hurts.

I would expect that they put at least one in the three, since it is an auto-lose otherwise. Well, actually, only if is it expected that they put none in is it a recipe for loss, otherwise the people not nominated are the ones under suspicion. Like you, my head hurts.
