Ah, just read over the changelog. That would be a very good pick. Do we pick civs first and then leaders?

There'll be a snakepick I think. So (an example with players A, B and C) :
Player A chooses civ or leader
Player B chooses civ or leader (except the one chosen by player A)
Player C chooses civ and leader (except the ones already chosen)
Player B chooses the other part of his civ/leader combo (except the ones already chosen)
Player A chooses the other part of his civ/leader combo (except the ones already chosen)

My idea would be, if possible, to choose Pro/Fin first, and then choose Inca if it's available when the snakepick comes back to us. If not we'll have to improvise. What other traits do you like now that you've read the changelog for the traits ? And what about civs ?

Charismatic is always nice, both for the faster promotions and now apparently faster libraries.
Imperialistic is also good.

As far as civs go, I'm used to the highly varied ones in FFH so Civ4 always seems so tame. China, Babylon, and Persia are all appealing (although I have no idea how they rank competitively).

I'd be ok with China. What are Persia's starting techs again ?
Imp was nerfed back to its BTS bonus in this mod version (used to be +60% settler prod) so I'm not particularly enthusiastic about it. I'd be fine with trying the new Cha (maybe Pro/Cha of Inca for infinite whipping ?)

Edit : How about Pro Celts for guerrilla stuff ?

Persia starts with Agriculture and Hunting.

Celts could be interesting if I can't grab the Inca. Pro/Cha would mean Churchill, Pro/Fin Wang Kon, right?

I'm currently testing various early game paths. I've just thought of an unusual fishing->mining->bronze working, with a late worker.

Here's the link for my sandbox if you want to try it out : https://www.dropbox.com/s/t4ngs50m0quv1h...dSave?dl=0

Settler on t35, with a lot of development. Meh, I'll try something else.

I like this one more. Classic worker->quetchua ->quetchua ->settler, hunting->mining->BW, worker farms the rice ->pastures cow ->mines hill->chops forest. Less development and research but earlier settler, and a crapton of overflow (into a second worker ?).

I'll take a look in an hour or so, I'm finalizing my taxes this evening... Bleh
