Tier list/ thoughts on picks-

KILLERS-

Old Harry- Izzy of china.

Spiritual and expansive starting with mining/agriculture, will likely be first to bronzeworking unless needing to get hunting first. China brings its hilariously fun Choke on You's. Lots of fun can be had with those city capturing collateral damaging crossbows. As far as i am aware, China's UB isnt really all that great unless you are going for a culture victory? Old Harry from what i have seen is a vet with alot of experience and has planning skills + dedlurkers that together gives him alot of advantages when planning wars of conquest or building things 1,2,3 turns faster. Reminds me of reading Sullla's writeups.

Lewwyn- QSH of Mali.

Pro and Ind, together with Mali's powerful UU for early game "plant wherever cuz lul" make his combo deadly for early-mid game. Im putting Lewwyn here, solely from reading his amazing turn around ( with pin's help of course ) of China in PB38. The guys got skill.

Krill- Bismark of Portugal.

Ind+ Exp with Portugals dominance on the water? Should be a very fun. I don't know all that much about the player other than from what ive heard, and from what ive read elsewhere ( sullla's website ) From what i can tell he is a ruthless killer who does some really wacky things like in pb37. He got the "best" leader for carthage, forcing me to take HC.

Not as threatening-

Elkad - Stalin of America

Agg- Ind combining with America of all choices... im very curious what his plans are. Even with a slightly different UU/UB i still consider America to be pretty shitty. I cant say much about the player as i haven't played him enough or seen enough of his gameplay.

Donovan Zoi - Willem of Arabia

Cre-Fin The only other Financial player in the game other than myself.. Curious why he picked Arabia, is it just solely for the starting techs? Or is the UB that good? ( i dont consider the camel archer to be worth a shit ) I dont know all that much about the player other than he turned a somewhat shit start in pb38, into a better start, but nonetheless meh game by holkan rushing Dark Savant

Gavagai - Mao of Inca

Pro-Exp Inca. How typical. Pro UB, Exp for faster worker, and you have a very very fast early game. Which is why im thinking he wont do so well on a Big and Small map, as i am firmly believing you need more mid-late game power for this kind of map script. The player, seems a tad bit hotheaded.. but other than that seems to be a fairly aggressive player.

OT4E - Tokugawa of France

Pro-Agg. France isnt a bad civ, and im sure OT4E will pilot it well, i just hope that he isnt near me when it gets to Gunpowder era. OT4E seems to have a reputation as a killer, but im ranking him lower because i dont believe he has much chance of winning this game.

Superjm - Saladin of Rome

Pro-Spi Protective being superjms early game trait, Spiritual being his late game trait, and Rome being his mid-game trait. Not terrible. I have no idea who this guy is, but im going to assume he's not as super as myself.

Mr. Cairo - Julius Caesar of Aztec

Org/imp with Aztec's situational UU, and decent UB. I don't know what tf he was thinking with this choice, cheaper UB, but if i remember right Aztec's starting techs are garbage same with its UU. Ill be surprised if he doesn't end up as the first one K.O'd
"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. Now, i moved solely because of my thinking that gold in the capitol is a win. But can we turn this into a win? Keep reading to find out!

Using Fin+ gold mine, I should be able to fund a couple more cities early on compared to others.. Now, so long as our land isnt shit, im hoping to tech hunting-bw-sailing-masonry and secure TGLH. After that, it should be as simple as planting on the coast, and heading towards currency. Im unsure atm if i want to try and get the Collosses as well, or save those hammers for more settlers. All will depend on how the land turns out.

Decent 2nd city location i think, hoping for more food to the south. Some 3rd or maybe 4th city to share the pigs maybe?

Still pretty dry.. at least the 2nd city isnt looking that bad. Curious if its better to go for a 3rd/4th city before an island city for traderoute income? Hmm..

Continued shitty land, followed by more shitty land.. Good news is still the fairly great 2nd city + Gold in the cap. Planning on going straight for TGLH and with working coast, should be able to spam cities like crazy.

I messed up when scouting and have to backtrack to get some missed tiles ( hopefully they have food!!) Its really looking like a push for TGLH will be my only way of making random coastal cities profitable. Even for a random map, i dont remember most maps i rolled being this... barren? there might be some very long fog busting jobs coming up for some warriors in the future if there isnt a great place for a city for miles..
