Iunno, what are your short-term/long-term goals?

Economy looks healthy and so I'd be keen to get those additional cities settled asap. Don't forget the one in the south on the Beavers.
What is the plan after Calendar?
What are your GP plans? Have you thought about a GP for the Jewish shrine? Or getting some Scientists done for either acadamies or bulbing through Education?
And bowl me over sideways - there is finally a lurker thread!!!

Short term is settle all my spots, going CoL atm tech wise, after that still have 50 turns of NAP, so ignoring military tech right now, although getting to the point nothing is too appealing.
Had not even considered GP, would probably aim for academies given the option right now.

Well, bit of diplo with Piet:
Quote:Hi Stephen,
thanks for the save - I will probable try to play it in my lunch break (have to leave home at around 8.15 in the morning, so its really close timing on most weekdays).
Just wanted to send some kind of general message because PBEM15 is really quiet on the diplomatic front atm, everyone seems to be in builder mode and not so much caring about what the others are doing. So I am sending messages around to the people I haven't talked with for a while.
From what I can see from demographics Karthargo is really doing well atm (I think it was you with the ~230 GNP the last turns). Really nice. We did well ourselves the last turns, finishing hanging gardens was a nice boost for the empire.
I connected our sheeps at arabia last turn, so I am looking to switch our clams-sheep trade to another health resource soon (crabs would be nice, just don't know when and if you will connect a second resource).
Lurking your PBEM21 game with Ioan a little bit, as you have seen. Too bad you lost the oracle race there, but with 3 of 4 players racing for it there was probably not so much you could do. Anyway, its really interesting seeing you two working together there, wondering if and how far this extends to this game - poor TT if this is true ;-).
Speaking of TT, not having heard something of him in the last month or so. Will probably send him a message too, so this may change.
Best regards,
Peter
Quote:Hey Peter,
Things are ticking along, I can't really comment on the detailed ingame stuff until I get the save next, playing too many games, and this one is moving too slow for me to remember exact details.
With regards Ioan, I have had far more conversations with you than I have with him. I do think TT is in danger down the line, especially as he has been pushing heavily with culture at both of us (not sure how your border with him is faring).
Not spoken to TT for a while, but to be honest can think of very little to share with him, must seem obvious to everybody I have no choice but to expand into him (I guess I could push against you in Arabia, but I like the way we have worked together so far)
Any future plans for other wonders you are willing to admit about right now, or are you done for now?
Stephen

Well, given I can park him for the next turn, any wonder that is coming up soon.
Already gone are:
Stonehenge, TGL, Colossus, Hanging Gardens, Oracle

Well, what is the long term goal?
Pyramids sound like the best option to me. Representation for the added happy +3 ![smile smile](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/smile2.gif) in top 5 cities and the boost to specialists would be a nice civic to use. If we were food heavy I'd advocate Caste too.

Are you in OR?
If so then you really should dedicate 1 city to build missionaries to spread the faith. +25% hammers is not to missed out on when building infrastructure like forges.
Otherwise I would say that you are certainly still in this game. Piet seems to have slight lead in most categories but otherwise, it is fairly even.
