I am against all diplomatic victories. And honestly, am also against the "assign X city to Y" vote. I think it's unbalancing and terribly un-fun.

I'm against all resolutions as well, but I don't think we can change game settings without unanimous approval during the game. Since we all agree on banning religious victory, that's a done deal. Other resolutions should stay in force, as we are not in agreement to change that.
Now... how about unbanning nukes? We koreans feel that the game just isn't the same without them. How are we supposed to deal with imperialist oppression if we can't send them a post card with a nice payload? I'm happy to have all resolutions banned as well if that's the general consensus. However, half of Korea doesn't want nukes unbanned, (clearly I am the GOOD cat).
as said .. i'm argeeing with no religious victory ... not argeeing with anything else (any kind of win from that point on would feel kinda cheap)
Catwalk, what game are you playing here? Do you think we'll agree to six party talks to discourage you from your nuke seeking ways? I'll side with Slowcheetah on this one. Nukes stay banned. You're starting to make us worry.
Played: Pitboss 18 - Kublai Khan of Germany Somalia | Pitboss 11 - De Gaulle of Byzantium | Pitboss 8 - Churchill of Portugal | PB7 - Mao of Native America | PBEM29 Greens - Mao of Babylon Catwalk Wrote:How are we supposed to deal with imperialist oppression if we can't send them a post card with a nice payload? I vote thread win for that line. One other thing, Thanks Mist for fixing the tracker. I just told Xenu we're flirting with "Kuro has the save" turn-holding status, currently at 20 hours. Sorry guys, we'll get our shit together soon!
I'm sure we could be persuaded to hold off on nukes if we were to receive a token of gratitude for our pledge to uphold world peace. Like, a small squadron of combat helicopters and a few trucks of stinger missiles.
Boldy, your timing is pretty good as far as we're concerned. This week has been crazy busy, so the relief is appreciated.
