Yup, I will not stand on top of people with a stopwatch, but since you did introduce a rule, do stick with it. Like log out once you ended turn and come back few hours later or something. Double moves won't matter much right now ( outside occasional hut popping races ), but if you get into the habit of not doing them now, everyone will have much easier time later.

This game was started in a spirit of fun and from where I sit it's a very refreshing change from some of the games on RB right now.

Let's not spoil it.

Go out and have some fun playing a game of Civ.....it's what we're here for after all isn't it?

NM the late turns (they're going to happen no mater how good the intentions are...it's an 18 player game, some folks are going to be a bit late playing their turns).
