After some 10 minutes of searching you find a sliding panel on the side of the beds elegant headboard which opens a small compartment which have a signet ring ((Knowlegde Nobility/Royality OR Knowledge Local)) with a small scrap of rolled up parchment threaded into the ring, and on it is a small piece of text of unknown handwriting.

Well, this looks like the ring we were sent to find. Mayhap Livinia can decipher the message apparently left in it.

And for loot distribution, why not just sell all the stuff we don't have a use for and distribute the money after, rather than relying on everyone selling their share separately? I know some people who'll give me a decent price, no questions asked as to why we're trying to offload several bloodstained sets of armour at once.

OOC: SO wait we never got a knowledge check on the signet ring. Does it actually belong to Lady Livinia's family? Please let us know Sian. For purposes of jump starting though I will continue as if it is for the moment.

Ok, let's get moving then. I think we're all agreed we want to go sell this stuff and return to Lady Livinia. Ander's you got the ring? Great let's go. Holden take his weight distributed portion of the loot and heads out to the deck. From there he gathers the party and helps them into the boats. Once everyone that is supposed to be in his boat is there he rows his boat back to shore.
