My feeling is that CLG will probably go out -- they still seem to be half a step behind the good European teams, despite some improvements. But it'll be interesting to see...

Of course LoL has more viewers right now, I didn't watch DOTA 2 for more than a few minutes because it makes no sense if you don't know the champion, their abilities or the items.
Today was announced DOTA 2 will come out in 2012, so that gives Riot about half a year to polish LoL. I think the competition is a positive thing and actually badly needed. Either Riot is able to implement long awaited features faster or people will simply switch to the other game. Right now I feel Riot is being rather lazy because their game has no real competition, so a little pressure is beneficial for the players, regardless of which game you prefer in the end. It reminds me of the time when Microsoft wouldn't do anything to improve the Internet Explorer until Firefox started gaining a big share of the market.
Well, steam says there were 1,5 million viewers (at the same time, of course, not the total) on the DotA 2 stream. But I don't know if the information can be trusted.

Yay Nidalee, gotta watch that match. I pretty much main her now, never have a bad game with Nidalee.
NA dominant so far - both Solomid and CLG went 3-0 in the group stage.
I'm somewhat surprised that Nidalee and Cho aren't auto-bans against CLG. HotshotGG looks so much more average (for a player of their level) with any other champ.
The matches today were excellent across the board. The best part is watching how the American and EU teams value champs differently (Irelia considered first pick/first ban status in EU, Fiddlesticks same in America, both largely ignored by the other side.) HotshotGG was completely insane today, playing Jax then Nidalee then Cho'Gath and dominating with all three. So far, the two American teams are a combined 6-0 and won both group stages. I can't wait to see what happens in the semi-finals.
