2Metra accepted OBs so our commandos are on the move again - nominally towards Mack (those cities we didn't kill ten turns ago are all still available...) but we could gift a boat with our three remaining commando infantry to Commmodore. Dtay has a bunch of cities in the north that are empty, and one packed coastal city from where Commodore could strike... It would certainly surprise dtay, but does it do us any good?
In other news Cannae will finish the palace this turn, we'll finish Fascism and I'd like to switch to Police State / Bureau / ? / Free Market / Theocracy next turn. It means firing some of our 17 specialists (8 of whom are in Omdurman), but improves our output of Artillery and other useful units.
Peace with Mack runs out eot261, so fingers and toes crossed again please...

Are you sure that game mechanics allow us to gift units inside a boat to Commodore? If that works I think it's such a cool move that we should do it 
How many turns of our "NAP" with mackoti left? 30? I guess showing some activity at our border makes sense and maybe we again declare-peace in order to improve our quality of sleep?

This should give an idea of how much progress Commodore has made against dtay. We're not doing quite so well...
Anyway, maybe Police State will change that? Bureau costs 56 gpt more than nationhood, but will get us 130 gpt from Cannae. We're just about out of drafting sites now and we've got all the EPs we need for the forseeable future... I stuck with Caste, since all the stuff we want to build now is a bit expensive for Slavery to help much. Free Market and Theocracy were no-brainers.
I've moved most of our units to put up a token defense if Mack has decided that now is our time. I think it's about 30 turns left on the "NAP" but I really don't want to rely on that. There is an ulterior motive for the movement though - once we get peace with Mack we can load absolutely everything onto one of the fleets and try one last attempt to get one of dtay's big cities. Yeah I know that hasn't gone so well thus far, but we've got a few turns peace with 2metra and if Mack leaves us alone then who knows what we can accomplish! More details when I think that the plan seems more feasible. I've not made any moves with the gift-commandos-to-Commodore plan as I want to try out one more attack ourselves.

While waiting for the turn I updated the index in post two.
As a heads-up I'm going away Friday-Monday next weekend, PB13 may never start up again, but if it does can you play Saturday and Sunday? They may be complicated war turns, or we might have peace everywhere by then...

What's going on with the game pace in this one? People taking turns being unavailable?

Overall turns are long and time-consuming at this point so turns take almost always more than a day (which is fine IMO), but currently dtay is having severe connection problems, which has now caused a long pause and we might even need a sub for him.

We're out of the three-way turn split that 2Metra subjected us to, so turns *should* be one-a-day now...
What do you think of Krill for dtay? He's read that we're planning a coastal attack, but I didn't say which coast. And he knows we might gift some commandos to Commodore. But we might not. I'd rather have an unspoiled sub, but I suspect they'll be too hard to find right now.

Krill has followed this thread really closely, and we're at war with the civ he would be subbing for. That would not really be a fair substitute for you guys at all. Is there not some eliminated player from this game who could take over, if no one else?
