Anyway, I'll be heading out of this city July 2nd, 0400 GMT. Although that probably won't matter much to you since I'm not playing the saves now.

Check your Sent Mail, maybe you made a mistake somewhere or have fallen foul of a Google glitch.
I checked the sent folder, its the same email thestick gave me, rbpbem35@gmail
this is the second turn I've played, it seemed to work fine the first time I played it.

the tracker now says 36 hours, but I actually played the turn 24 hours ago. I also sent it to Tankra - Tankra, have you received it and played yet?

Okay, I can't actually get into the mailbox ( blame google protection measures ), but I can read what's in it with debug scripts. Last message from you that tracker received has this file attached

That looks like a mid-turn save, openable only by the stick/big team.
It should look something like:
RB_PBEM35_BC-XXXX_to_Tankra.CivBeyondSwordSave

ok, well help me fix it. thats the save civ4 gave me. after I hit end turn it popped up asking me to save and I did.
I tried to open, thinking Nicolae might be right, but it asks for dr. awkward's passowrd (tankra) so it is clearly tankra's turn on the save, not ours. tankra can you play?
should I just reload the old save from sian and replay it????

ok replaying the turn seems to have solved the problem. I don't know why I couldnt find the correct save (to Dr.Awkward) last time, so sorry for the big hold up

This is what happens when you replay a turn and overwrite an existing save. If for whatever reason you must replay a turn, always delete old save first.

well thats kind of what happenned. I think after I ended turn and it created a save, I manually saved, and tried to send that save on. so it was a proper save, woulda worked if tankra opened it and played, but of course the tracker didn't recognize it.
oh well, these were my first 2 turns turn-playing in a pbem ever, I've got it down now.
