I have a lot of drinking to do this weekend, on top of several less important commitments.

So no save from me today, unfortunately.

I got an email from Dazed last night (from his phone) saying he was having internet issues, sent around 8p. Looks like the issue hasn't been sorted out just yet. In the meantime, Zak, keep us entertained with more awesome thread names.

Thanks, Boldly! Yes, my home internet is completely on the fritz and has been for over 24 hours now. All the attempts to get it restored so far have failed. I am planning to switch providers because it has been incredibly unreliable, but I just don't know how quickly that will happen. Apologies and hope to have the save sent off tonight (8pm Central).

Dazed, do you have the capability to use your cellphone as a wireless access point, just to get your computer to send and receive saves?

Anyway - I'll be away at a wedding this weekend from Friday to Sunday, with no access to civ. At least we are all equally guilty of slowing down the turn pace. :/
I have to run.

Sadly, no. Here in the US AT&T charges out the wazoo for that service/ability and I am disinclined to give AT&T any extra money--especially for a service I would not likely use often. I have a tech scheduled for their earliest availability (tomorrow) but am also planning to talk to a competitor to see about getting their internet service set up since I was strongly considering that change anyway.

Can you open the mistbinder, and download it to your phone, then plug your phone in USB and copy the save to your computer?

Tedious, but shouldnt cost extra.

Sometimes playing Civ is frustratingly like cooking a nice meal. It takes so long to prepare and you're just soo hungry, then so little time to eat...and then there are the dishes to wash...

If everyone's too busy I'll just play 5 turns for everybody to make sure the game moves along even when people are unfairly not able to concentrate on the game enough.
