Looks like your duo lane got crushed but their duo was unable to use their lane dominance once teamfights started. I might question how much armor you got this game compared to MR considering the other team's setup but well played.

The thing about this is that they never did enough damage to me for me to stack magic resistance and I was never the focus of their abilities. Armor had a lot of utility either way - Randuin gives AoE slow, Frozen Heart hindered their Jax and Udyr, and I got lots of CDR out of the two, plus Mana. That, and it allowed me to tower dive like a boss, provoking easy fights at turrets.

And you do manage 2 assists when you cause your Soraka to rage. What Trist did was stumble around, walk into turrets, walk around the jungle, not farm for no reason, etc. It seemed like a baby took control of the character, but at the end it turned out to be a troll as seen on the screenshot. Thankfully she stopped being worth gold at some point. Then she randomly dropped into some teamfight and shot a few people randomly, once or twice, getting an assist from that.

BTW, my LOLReplay plain doesn't read any replays, so if you download the replay from this game, notify me if it works at all.

For the record my Amumu is Armor reds and yellows, Mr/lvl blues and HP quints.

Oh I understand that just fine, normally they sit to the side of a teamfight occasionally and try to KS when they aren't busy dying. Note she only had 1 more death than the enemy Vlad player.

Well only Soraka died more than you (ignoring troll) on your team so you musta seen some skills coming your way. Did your team try to follow the suiciding Tristana when possible so the other team might blow some CD's on her before you fought them?

We pretty much ignored whatever Tristana was doing and went on our way. She even pushed down one turret while we were all mid (!). As for deaths, they were mostly resulting from just going first to battle and absorbing lots of damage - and an occassional bad moment where I just made a bad decision. I don't think I would have died any less with more Magic Resistance, and Armor really helped when we were trying to end the game sooner rather than later, so I would initiate some fights at towers and laugh at the tower fire.

None of their AP casters were that threatening anyway. Spears weren't flying towards me. Vlad is a sustained DPS caster who really only did damage by sticking around and giving the benefit of Hemoplague - and look at how often he died, he was pretty kamikaze and died early.

And anyway, tanks have the tendency to die, being in the middle of things and crying. It helped that I could straight up facetank around 20-30 tower shots without a problem.

This looks like bad itemizing but seeing the big picture it isn't bad in my opinion.

I've played in a few games w/ people, and they're very interested. From here on it's all hearsay.

In many respects he's similar to Xin Zhao. Huge amount of closing power and spike damage, but after all the burst very fragile. However, instead of pure single target, his abilities can cover a wider AoE and he has a temporary stealth ult and slows instead of the knockup.

The biggest thing is that most of his scaling comes from skill points apparently, so you're best off building utility items to stay alive long enough to fire off a second burst of damage, or go full throttle damage to try and end it quick.

Depending on who you ask on the forums, he's OP or UP, so it sounds like he's tricky to get right but devastating when farmed (duh, he's an assassin). I think the key though is his power drops off in teamfights and he's pretty weak in laning, so keep him with a buddy bottom and make sure he stays ahead of the curve with good ganks.

Elementz new tier list came out. The one for drafted mode AKA high lvl play. Sona and Taric still Tier 1, Soraka and Nidalee down to Tier 3.

Here's the schedule for this week-end's Major League Gaming (MLG) LoL tourney: http://www.majorleaguegaming.com/news/ml...t-schedule

It's an all NA tourney, with TSM and CLG being the most recognizable teams. EpikGaming and Curse have a lot of strong players too. Should be fun!

One negative is that, like IEM, MLG is running dual streams - one is free and low quality, and the other costs money and is high quality. frown

Well, I can't really blame MLG for trying to get some revenue out of streaming the events live. The normal stream is still free, and the charge for the higher one isn't that exorbitant. It was like $30 for an entire year right?

I'm more concerned about what the hurricane barreling down on North Carolina will do to the stability of the streams (and the event itself of course).
