I mean, where is the rest of the EU on this? Shouldn't they be a little more worried about it than we are? I've barely heard a squeak from Germany or France, which is concerning to say the least. Sure my news feed is Americentric and somewhat isolated from the press briefing of European heads of state, but if there was any strong reaction, I'm sure it'd have reached CNN. The British actions made the headlines and they all but insist on having nothing to do with the continent  .

I don't know what you mean - the German government not only sent a field hospital worth $6 million (!) to Ukraine, they also generously agreed to send 5000 helmets (out of 100.000 requested). And I mean, if anybody knows how to don a helmet, it's the Germans:



What more can you ask for? I am sure, once Putin sees 5000 Ukrainian soldiers equipped with fashionable German helmets, he will turn around and abort all his invasion plans immediately.
But these Ukrainians are never happy - the mayor of Kyiv even asked why we are not sending pillows as well?

As a sovereign nation, it is within Cuba's right  to allow an ally to station intermediate range nuclear missiles on their territory.

The Cuban Missile Crisis is of course hardly a fair comparison to Ukraine; the former involved a nation hostile to the United States having another adversary install weapons capable of annihilating tens of millions of people, while the latter simply aspires to apply for membership in a defensive alliance with numerous other countries (which sober analysis shows they are nowhere near ready to join regardless). 

That said, it certainly was Cuba's right to attempt to get away with allowing the Soviet Union to establish missile silos targeting the U.S., and the U.S. was absolutely throwing its weight around as a global superpower.  I'm not sure though why you seem to believe America's saber-rattling with Cuba around sixty years ago justifies contemporary Russia invading and forcibly annexing parts of Ukraine.

Seriously I'm surprised we don't have companies doing stuff like this more often. Conservative media blames "liberals and wokism"; The left sees it as positively. Neither recognizing it for what it is, which is free advertising.
