If the russian internet propaganda machine has arrived in this remote place of the internet it makes me worried things are actually going to become catastrophic in Ukraine...

How about you give arguments a try instead of resorting to sophistry and implication?

I have nothing to gain from this. Actually, how I got here is a different story. I first created another account simply to help someone who had a problem with the RI mod for CIV IV, which I experienced a month ago but couldn't find any solutions online back then. So today I found someone was having the same problem here that I had, and solved, on my own, but this forum wouldn't send me an authentication mail when I tried registering, which means I couldn't write a message. I tried using a different email and it worked. I'm perplexed.

Maybe I'll write that message later. Suffice to say I find geopolitical issues to be a lot more interesting.
