I did thnk about on the plains hill south of the capital as another option. Now that the fish have been discovered, it makes sense. It can utilise the capital's wheat to grow if needed. But yeah, it's a bit early yet - we need to do more uncoverin'.

If in doubt, we should more tightly pack the cities for MP than we would for SP.

I've changed my mind about our next worker actions. We want as much commerce as possible for an early Oracle, and early workers to chop out settlers and wonders. So this is my suggestion:

This turn, move the worker to the forest 1N of Pocket Aces. Next turn, chop. When we grow to size two, work the copper and the wheat, and switch builds to a worker. This worker will then complete EOT25, aided by the chop. Meanwhile, Allen can start farming the rice, will finish it off on T26 aided by Barry, and we can grow to size 3 in three turns working both farms and continuing our stonehenge build. Allen and Barry move from the rice to two forests and chop them, completing, for example, a third worker EOT30.

So, in detail:
T19: Move Allen to forest 1N of PA. Warrior->Stonehenge. Research goes Mysticism->The Wheel->Pottery->Masonry.
T20: Allen chops.
T22: Size two. Work wheat and copper. Stonehenge->Worker
T23: Chop has completed. Allen moves 1E to rice and farms.
T26: Worker->Stonehenge. Barry moves to rice and farms. Farm completes. Work rice and wheat.
T27: Allen moves to forest 1SE of PA. Barry moves to forest 2E of PA.
T28: Allen and Barry chop.
T29: Size three. Work farms and copper. Stonehenge->Worker.
T31: Worker->Stonehenge. Three workers need orders. (Road & Mine the copper, then triple chop a settler?)

One possible continuation of this plan gives us Stonehenge EOT36, Settler EOT38, Settler EOT47, Oracle EOT48 (or Granary if Oracle is gone, no hammers wasted).
I have to run.

I'm happy to go with that plan. Do we get to build some units in the second city?

"Allen and Barry chop" - I love that.

A lurker thread has been set up. Maybe some interesting has happened... or maybe not. Maybe it's just a compare and contrast of the various starts. I refuse to be curious. lol

Can't we just vote through Always Peace in the planning thread?
There should be room for an axeman or two in the capital in the mid-30s though. Let's just see how the geopolitical situation evolves. The second city sadly won't do much of anything until borders expand and Animal Husbandry is in (researched after Priesthood). Before that it'll just grow to size two working the unimproved sheep and building a warrior, axeman or granary. In that light, I guess we could have it just slow-build a worker, and start growing when we have proper tiles for it to work.

Save is here - yoink!

New demographics for info.

And some chat from ruff. I'm happy for ruff to share our location.

As you can see from the above screenshot, we are now researching The Wheel having researched Mysticism, building Stonehenge having completed the warrior, and the wheat is nice and farmed.

Espionage with ruff is at 42/40, so his espionage points have been split between us and ad hoc. I went ahead and told ruff that he could tell ad hoc our whereabouts. Here's my chat back.

You can see in the shot above that we have again located Alibi. I also moved Four Of Clubs (our new warrior) 1W so that he has the option of going NW or SW. Plus Allen has headed to the forest as per the micro plan.

I hit end turn and, because we went over 43 EPs vs ruff, we can see his graphs. Here is his power graph:

And save has been sent on.

Average soldier points up 750 and rival best up 2,000, so someone else has increased by 1,000.

Pegasus's score has increased by 3 so is that a population point (explaining the 1,000 increase above)? And someone else has built a warrior?

Pegasus's score increase is definitely a pop point, but it's specifically a growth to an even #. I would assume that means he's now reached size 2.
